Omimah: APC will win GEJ convincingly in the South West. Yoruba people are politically sophiticated. Jonathan's failure alone is enough for them to vote him out. "I have no shoes" won't sell in 2015. Just go out one day and conduct a 20mins survey..ask this market traders around Lagos here who they will vote for president next year, you will be baffled with what you will hear..it's not all about reading what politicians say online...It's just a simple practical... |
Politics › Re: .... by CyberWolf: 8:03am On Oct 18, 2014 |
Explicit01: same thing that baffles me, buhari cannot win GEJ in lagos. He thinks it's only yorubas that live in Lagos or up north..GEJ will win this election hands down..Just manage ask this market women and traders in Lagos who they will vote for president next year, and you will be baffled with what you will here...all of them always chorused Jonathan, even the yorubas among them... |

barcanista: That is a ridiculous claim my friend. Jonathan may win Rivers(not disputing) but He will not win by more than 70%. In fact the Wike issue may reduce his vote the more. As for EDO state PDP won't have an easy ride there, especially with a Fashola or Oshio on the ticket. APC will get a few vote from Delta but again PDP will win. however, the Plan is to encroach into Jonathan's territory while securing APC's North and Protecting SW. We all know SE, CRS, AKS and Bayelsa is PDP You don't know Nigerian politics..you only sit in the comfort of your room, read news papers and online articles, and then make your permutations from it..Let ask you, have you ever gone for a political rally/campaign? have you ever participated practically in politics?(i.e in the field)...you are even talking about SS states, as if SW is totally secured, so in your warped sense, you think GMD will GEJ in Lagos?..I laugh you bro ...APC will win lagos guber but PDP will win the presidential election..You don't even understand a thing about your commander BAT.. |

onatisi: exactly. The north or presidency is not a do or die affair for ac n in apc or tinubu. They are well contented to just sit back and consolidate on their gain in the sw And that is final...have a wonderful day ahead.. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:46am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: I agree with u Thank you my brother...lets just watch as the drama unfolds..What they don't know also is that Fashola will accept to be running to Buhari if Tinubu tells him to do so which I know he will not because he has already completed his deal with GEJ..Fashola will go to senate which he is 100% sure of winning and Tinubu will sit back and secure his SW and then leave north to sort out themselves..forget all this media stunt.. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:29am On Oct 17, 2014 |
Omimah: The death of Musa Yar'Adua which cut short the eight-tenure of the north and the insistence of Jonathan to run make the north agrieved. For me, they are justified for being angry. Sure but securing power from PDP is an uphill task and APC would've done everything possible to secure this power first irrespective of who is aggrieved ..After that, they can settle the aggrieved zone...but no, they played into the hands of those who said that North sees the presidency as their birthright and now again, they are about to play into the hands of PDP who labelled them as an Islamic party.. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:25am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: bros ,you are getting the picture ,you see in western countries you use economic policies to knock your opponents off but in nigeria politics it is all about tribal and religious points it is only when your opponents passes these two that u can use ecoonomic policies. With both religious and ethnic cards there is no way apc will win the sw and se and ss at the presidential polls . Many will vote against apc just to make sure that the north doesn't win, majority of christians vote against them on religoius grounds and because of the atrocities of boko haram ,that is why pdp has been persistent in labeling apc a boko haram party and sponsor. And with info I got about some tape been circulated in the sw after boko haram .it is obvious these 2 cards will woork against apc no matter the candidate they present I know APC will not make this mistake..Forget people here saying religion and tribe is not a factor..it's a very BIG factor and politicians will never rule it out..it's a very powerful political arsenal and both parties are very much aware of it..APC got it all wrong when they zoned it's presidential slot to the north... |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:12am On Oct 17, 2014 |
Omimah: Agreed, Buhari/Fashola ticket is good, I'll advice APC not to go for it. Supporters of PDP that like it, and even say it could make them vote for APC are the same people that call APC an Islamic party. This is a trap. If APC falls for it, PDP will say APC had finalized their plans to islamize Nigeria. ...The mistake APC made is Zoning it's presidential slot to the north... |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:11am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: gbawe ,I have proven you wrong more than once with my analysis of nigerian politics and with outcome of elections . And I want everyone to bookmark this thread, buhari won't get that apc ticket and apc won't win even 10 states when it comes to the presidential elections .I don't like talking too much . Like I always say we will meet at the polling booth I don't think so..Buhari has 70% chances of getting the ticket but winning at the pool is what is not feasible.... |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 9:01am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: you don't understand yoorubas , we are not tribalistic .during the days of yar adua, when he was seeking the sdp ticket . He won in many yoruba states despite the fact that faale and co contested against him . The truth is pdp still controls majority of sw voters BUT yorubas will not vote for any party except that party presents a credible candidate . Let me give u the example of osun state. Majority of osun indigenes are tired of apc and aregbe but because they are tired oof him that still will not make them vote for a wrong and bad alternative which was omisore . So at the moment ,there is no better alternative to pdp and gej for the presidency . If a credible and sellable candidate emerges even from another party apart from apc believe yorubas will vote en mass for that candidate I like the way you are being objective to the matter..I'm an Igbo but I tell you that if APC fielded someone like Fashola, my brother forget it, PDP is gone..APC would've done everything possible to secure the number one position first then, they can start rotating it the way they like but no,they played into the hands of Nigerians masses who sees North wanting power by all means...Nigerians will vote for GEJ not because they like him, but just to show some people that presidency is not their birthright.... |

onatisi: bros ,they don't know because they base their political knowledge on what they read on nairaland and newspaper headlines. The northern elites and political class will even prefer atiku than buhari. Please how will apc be able to sell buhari/fashola to people in anambra ,delta or enugu ?the issue oof boko haram victims from the sw is still fresh in the minds of many yorubas ,many christians will not even look at apc logo before thumb printing for pdp once they see buhari name or pic . Pdp controls over 20 states out oof 36 ,these state gov will deliver their states so how can apc win? Even before the end of the year many apc politicians will still decamp back to pdp before the next elections . With the scheme of things even in oyo state ,apc is on the verge of losing that state . Tinubu and apc problem is more than the presidency, they have seen their mistake and what it is costing them and they are trying to salvage it,hence the visit of tinubu to obj to help him rescue ogun state . If obj can influence his boys to pull out of ogun pdp and join amosun then amosun has a chance ,because ogun apc is in serious trouble due to the in fighting among amosun and osoba factions. Many more cases in the sw apc . Exactly my brother..and what most APC supporters here don't know is that 80% of the voters are the illiterate village farmers and traders..only about 30-40% of city residents comes out to vote..where PDP got them is that they always penetrate the grassroot and influence this voters with whatever they want..APC is concentrating there campaigne on the internet but forget that only about 5-10% of internet users goes out to vote.. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 8:29am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: bros ,thank God at least someone is facing the truth. Apc and tinubu are presently fighting the full onslaught of pdp on the sw, so far apc has dropped 2 states and from all indications they will still drop more states in the south west maybe 1 or 2. The mistake of tinubu and his psycophants was the merger which they did with other parties . Believe me ,ac n then was getting stronger and they would have penetrated into the south east easily but the merger has so far proved to be a stumbling block. What apc didn't know was that the merger they did was to pdp advantage. Now apc is booged down with internal wranglings which has seen them lose some states. What will eventually happen is the repeat of what happened to ribadu , when it becomes obvious that apc will lose ,tinubu and co will prefer to spend their money on retaining their power base in the sw and leave the presidential candidate to sort himself out. One thing people don't realize is that absolute power corrupts absolutely , that is the reason why tinubu and many many other nigerian politicians will never allow a person like buhari to win because he can never trusted with power. You've said it all..nothing more to add..Let's just sit back and enjoy the drama while it unfolds..I only pity some gullible supporters who don't know what's about to befall them.. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by CyberWolf: 8:08am On Oct 17, 2014 |
onatisi: even then sdp had the strongest politicians in their party, people like shehu yar adua , adedibu and co. They had almost all the ex generals in their fold it was more or less like the official goovt party. They had politicians that could influence votes in all states and region ,but apc hasn't got any of these. Even if pdp presents 2 candidates from the same religion they will win because of the party structure and national spread which they have. Like I always tell people there is no way apc can win the presidency in 2015 no matter who they present I concur...I think APC would've concentrated in winning more states and National assembly seats, and when they've captured a greater percentage of the states, then they will move and capture the FG in one swoop..Tinubu did a fantastic job in SW by capturing almost all the states there but I guess he is gradually loosing it because of over concentration at the center as a result of this meager..Ifh care is not taken,he is gonna loose more SW states to PDP..Though his followers are not aware especially on NL here..Tinubu has concluded arrangement to secure his pride(SW) he so much labored for because he has been skimmed out from the presidential race and if APC wins, they gonna hijack the SW party structure from him using federal might, but Tinubu will never allow that happen..Instead he will secure it using every available means... a bird in hand is worth more than millions in the bush |

Raiders: not really. Abiola and his VP candidate were both Muslim and they won the elections. Most people care more about tribe or region than religion in politics. the reason was because just like someone said here,SDP then has a strong national base and Nigerians wants to free themselves from the shackles of IBB then by all means...Now the case is different and more so, religious factor became stronger cos of the introduction of Sharia law in this 4th republic..APC are aware of this, but they are just trying to test the water to know people's reaction... |

Raiders: religion should not be invovled in politics. Religion is suppose to be a personal relationship between you and God. That's how it's suppose to be but unfortunately, it's a factor to be considered in Nigerian politics and politicians are very much aware of it...that's the reality and we have to face it squarely .. |

Gbawe: Call it what you will. People like yoi do not do reality anyway with how you inanely postulate that Nigerians will aberrantly vote in GEJ they now know, without shadow of doubt, represents only corruption and misrule.
Have you noticed no one talks of "fresh air" anymore? Goodluck to you and the failed messiah you have decided to follow off the cliff. Nigerians will choose genuine change in 2015. No "boy with no shoes" ruse will work this time because it is now obvious that the boy now has thousands of ahoes and loves private jets while Nigerians wallow in poverty. when the time comes, you will see campaign in action..we don't make noise online..By the way,are you aware that Tinubu has completed his juicy deal with GEJ?... |
Politics › Re: Current Result Of 2015 Presidential E-poll By Sahara Reporter (PHOTO) by CyberWolf: 2:11pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
Gbawe: Continue to deceive yourself. This is not 2011 When GEJ was "fresh air" and "boy with no shoes". The lies Nigerians have told themselves have now come full-circle to show many what is important above everything else. Most Nigerians convinced themselves that "illiterate" leaders of the past who did not have University degrees were the problem of Nigeria. They rushed to support GEJ because he is "educated" and a 'departure' from our past.
Now GEJ has completely and convincingly made the case that a crook is a crook whether illiterate or possessing 10 PHDs. inversely, we all now appreciate that a good and pro-people leader remains such whether he is 85 or 25. GEJ has failed and Nigerians have worsened lives, greater poverty and more stressful existence as evidence of his failure. They will embrace a man (Buhari) they will now feel, more than ever, is needed for his sterling qualities and character that has never faded over years and decades. In 5 years GEJ has gone on to show the world conclusively that being "young" and "educated" is no guarantee of efficient and anti-corrupt leadership. If anything, the monumental looting and corruption going on under GEJ, which is worse than what was seen in the past, may be proof an older leader from a more disciplined and less materialistic time is perhaps precisely what Nigeria needs right now. its not about writing long epistle..just wait and see.. Just three months away and you will get the shock of your life... |
