acidosisTM: I'm really dissapointed in that Tinubu owned media house called TVC. Their staff lacks professionalism. Why should a so called journalist say stuffs like "T.B Joshua is feeling important"?Omo leave dt ya talk and be objective. TBJ is being respected by the state and govnor due to the nature of his vocation, his followership and his standing in society If na ordinary person get that property dt hv killed 44 so far. The person with his team of engineers go don take off or be cooling off in one dungeon by now. But TBJ still get mouth. Remember this is a crime, govt will normally seize property and prosecute the culprits. |
musiwa95: I beg to disagree with you, I am an Engineer, that is not a normal building collapsing, that is a terror attack. If a building has structure problem, it will gradually crack or even if that collapse was same day, it will give few minute to go down. That was man made collapse building.U came to this your 'professional' conclusion by watching a 2mins cctv video clip on ya mobile. Hmmm naija pros una too much |
neuljosh: Big fat lies.....OP where did you copy this poo from?? To start with, Christ embassy don't call their churches Parish but rather they say, Satellite Church. The author of this post must be high on crackWhat is the difference; the message is clear whether parish or satelite it makes no difference bearing in mind that the reporter may not be a member of the church. Pentecostals will say service while Catholics will say mass.bot are saying the same thing. understanding lo wa important ![]() |

My guy I grab ya gist buh assuming uba stop the transaction some how at least the sender will ask for alternative means to send the pay. Getting them to reverse it no dey easy. We hv been on this for 3mths now. E no easy o. UBA deris God o. |
Next time, read the terms and conditions of everywebsite or product you're using. UBA say's you cannot receive payments on the card, you can only spend. Most people have successfully receievd payments, but if u run into problems, like hanging payments, do not blame UBA, cos it is printed on the both the signup and welcome forms. You cannot recieve payments in the card, it might work for Mr A, but it means you cannot hold UBA for whatever problem arises from breaking that law. And Paypal (if it's the newly introduced paypal for nigerians) state you cannot receiev payments for now, You can only spend, whereby money will be deducted from your linked card. But you cannot recieve money into your account from anybody else or anything. It will not even work, dont bother to try, cos I've also tried. You'll get an error that Nigerian accounts are not provisioned to reciev money yet. Hope that's all
Why can't uba structure it such that an error message is triggered when a customer try paying into d card. Why will it work for A and B money hangs in the air. Is awful. U just said paypal gives error message and transaction declined while UBA gives transaction completed, receipt printed yet money hangs. Thereby cheating/short changing their customer (basically the hanging money is with UBA which they declear as profit at d end financial year.) cooperate stealing, abi authority stealing according to fela Agreed one need to read T and C but in cases where u hv friends who hv used the card to received money b4, telling u is possible u believe and then get into trouble with hanging money and UBA does nothing. My money is "hanging" in UBA vault and I need d pay. |
Still hoping for solution o. My pay is still missing in transit. Hope it will not be declared as part of Uba profit this financial yr. |
^^ Yea guys at the branch doesn't seems to no much. Hv complained there too, they said the will send mail still no solution. Me think, the thing is handled from HQ which manage their cfc email address I used to complain. Still hoping for a solution. |
I have had uba africard for a while now Sometime ago I provided the card for a refund transaction to UNISA for value of R3500. The school informed me that the transaction/refund was done on 25th March and provided a scan copy of merchant receipt as proof with transaction number, date etc. Up till now I am yet to receive the deposit. I have contacted uba via their cfc email address without any solution. They keep telling me Africard is not profiled to receive payment and that the payment should be reversed. I have question this on the basis that why will a transaction be successfully completed and receipt printed if d account is non existent or invalid more so the sender claimed they have done bank reconciliation and that d money hv left their account. I am at a lost on what to do at d moment. How do I get UBA to do something to this issue. Is over three months now. This is a very bad customer experience |
wooks: I am in the USA, the first son of my father and born abroad. My father died intestate last year. He owned land and properties in Nigeria but he left the papers in Nigeria. For the purpose of this post I presume they have fallen into the hands of his brothers in Nigeria.Maybe ya uncle knew u won't need the land. If u r born there probably ya mom and siblings r there too. Not serious root in niaja. Some pple in Lagos Niaja don't bother particularly is the property is in d villa talk less of pple abroad. Anyway ur uncle suppose no sell the land sha o without ya permission. As e dey now u can challenge d buyer for trespass and assert ownership by inheritance thru proxy and proceed to court if necessary Goodluck |
I also will like to do a soil test. Please how did you go about yours? I'm looking at 2 storey building.
U ve to contact pple that does it. Ask around and discuss with them. Some pple on this post appear to do it or know more abt it, u can also contact and discuss further with them. We ve not done yet and don't know much too, but in discussion with someone who claim he does it well Goodluck to u on ur project |
I thank all for inputs made here. A lot hv been said and learnt from all the views advanced here by diff pros in this field. I also know many more pple hv benefited immensely from d devise views advanced here. Thank u all for ur time. |
Irokoroots: Alot of valid points have been raised here. Thanks for ur input. Propose building is one story |
ifeanyi83: The point OP is that you most definitely don't want to do a soil test. You don't even want to engage professionals for your project that's why you're here to get free advice. Brother, nothing good comes free. From my experience as a young architect, a client who wants to put up a structure as yours will cry blue-murder when given a bill of N200k to produce 'stampedand sealed approval and construction drawings', so tell me, will you be willing to pay N150k for a soil test? Second, you don't want to engage a professional structural engineer, that is why you have consulted a so-called building contractor who has no requisite knowledge about proper construction techniques and he's probably giving you a wrong advice because he wants to make more money from you. Do the right thing brother, the likes of you are making charlatans in the building industry thrive. Engage professionals and stop looking for free advice.U can't be too sure in your assertion, d drawing has been done and paid for. By asking questions atimes u r guided on the best solution to an issue. Bear in mind also that professionals sometimes disagree on d best approach to resolve issues. Nothing is straight jacket as such. So it not a case of not wanting to expend money on pros but being a bit informed and getting value for money by making d right decisions Tnx for ur input all d same |
Aventures: ensure u re there when d test is to be done and equally insist that the report is certified by a registered geotech professional or coren registered structural engr. also ensure that the d certifier licence is up to date. this same process is what d telecom industry engage during desgn stageThanks I understand the soil will be taken to the Lab for analysis. Being there wht do one check out for exactly? |
Abt to commission a soil test, will come back with the result when out. Wht do one look out for when doing soil test. Everybody claims professional atimes is difficult to differentiate quack from pro. |
Ok |
LMAO...this woman is cursed with material acquisitions! Cars! Just like her kinfolk, it is money and material things over everything else and at any cost!
Don't ur type get tired. More input abeg |
Bros with due respect you must be educated. So why this unnecessary confusion. The issue is as simple as ABC. Consult a geologists for soil test ! It takes less than 150k.although an experience engineer supposed to give advice on foundation to adopt but as confusion has set in.DO SOIL TEST
Learning is a continues thing as long as we live. The post is also intended to lead to further learning. So we are making progress. Thx for ur input sha. |
HomesOfLife: It is really funny that Nigerians don't know the right people to point fingers at.What does law of agency say about percentage of an agent. I understand is 5% but even u as a professional will charge upto 20% or advice the landlord to increase rent to high heavens so ur cut will increase. Both d professionals and the quacks r all behaving unprofessional |
Please I need assistance from engineers in the house. A friend want to build a story building -5 bedroom duplex front and 3 bedroom flats at d back. The dilemma now is he contacted two engineers for quotes, one said he will use PILE Foundation while other said he will do RAFT Foundation. The dilemma now is, who should he contract given that he want d best required foundation as this is key to a solid building. He also has no fund to waste repeating/correcting mistakes. Pls he need ur candid advice and suggestions on this issue. The land is in ogudu-ori oke area of Lagos a swampy area. |
kukus01: you won't shut up now before DSTV spies get to youThe guilty are afraid |
Op should edit the post and remove the misleading information. He should also learn to research a topic before writing and blogging. |
franchizy: In as much as I do not support the killing, I have said it over and over that the declaration of state of emergency or military option is not the panacea to solving the Boko Haram menace.U be mu.mu. Deluded fellow |
Pple just dey bash bb yet dem dey keep vigil for bbm from bb. Y android no produce messenger wey pass Bbm for una. d babe no fine buh u like to dey browse im website. |
Clerverly: Still waiting for members of Fidelity Bank staff to invade this threadFidelity bank is an organisation dt employs thousands on Nigerians and contributes to the economy of Nigeria. so if Gov Obi is associated with such a successful establishment it should be a plus for him. It shows his pedigree in mgt of pple and resources even before assuming the position of govnor. What is the pedigree of ur principal Dr Ngige aside the abracabra he did with stolen mandate and his unholy alliance with the Ubas. The problem with nigeria is that pple who have no pedigree, whose antecedents are not know are most times thrown up to assume leadership positions based on mere sentiments and mundane considerations while the best qualified candidates are at times taunted by political jobbers who try to discredit their intimidating credentials like quoted post exhibits. |
