personally it's fundednext for me

if you are getting a prop firm account for the rules and things you don't understand,chat up the customer care to explain it to you in baby terms ask again if you still don't get it

read a prop firm rules before paying for the account

keep trading demo for the time period you designated,it gives confindece knowing your system works to trade it in a live account is a tad bit easier

Just don't stick to demo for too long,also research trading psychology
trading is mostly psychological

The system I was using require that specific lot-size to be traded. For a $10k account standard lots, $1k mini-lot and, $100 micro-lot
I thought maybe I was getting lucky, So I went to check the stats; over 80 trades in 30 days? That is a long haul for luck to be the dominant factor.


My plan was to keep the demo running for 90days, but the system is just working too smooth.
But I'm skeptical, maybe there's something I'm not seeing?

that specific lot size to be traded ditch that thing for longevity sake
maybe you meant Stop loss range of pips
use a position size calculator note they don't work for gold
reduce risk use 0.5 - 0 25% per trade idea

Hello guy, I hope this new year is treating you well.

So, I studied on babypips.com years ago but never really tried using the knowledge. But this year small done enter and I'm trying see if I'm ready swim with y'all.

I opened a demo account with 10k in it and and traded standard lots after one month I have about 60% profit, that is 16k.


I plan to start real account soon with 100-200k ans trade micro lots. Using the same formula.

Base on your experience what do you think about my humble exploit,?

note there's a difference in timezone.
I'm GMT +1 blackbull is two hours ahead so I add 2 hours to metatrader's time

tradingview is converted automatically to my time zone.
10pm - 6am GMT +1 on tradingview is 12am - 8am GMT +3 on metatrader

how can I backtest a strategy on a mobile phone

i tried FX replay (1 month free before charge)
but they don't have Asian range indicator which is the core of the strategy
i want to backtest and FX replay also freezes up a lot on my phone

what is a better option to use to backtest on mobile

and can someone give me a guideline on how to backtest properly

I do not know what broker you are using, but if you are using Deriv know that Deriv time zone is GMT, which means that we are an hour (1 hour) ahead of Deriv in Nigeria, so what you would do is just to subtract an hour from each of the time period and then locate it on your 15m, 30m or 1h chart using the vertical line. That means 10pm to 6am would be 9pm to 5am on Deriv. a simple trick that I use to know my brokers time is to go down on either the 1h or 15m chart, but preferably the 1h chart and then I compare the current candlestick time on my chart with the current time on my watch or phone that way I get to see the time difference between my place and that of the broker. but generally I think most brokers are GMT+2, so you would have to add an hour to whatever time you would like to locate on your chart
