We were part of the people who reviewed gender brochure of LASG DSRVT and even the pictures, the language and the tone affirms men as perpetrators and women as victims. Thank God for Lagos State and Lola Vivour... We are able to point out these unbalanced narratives. She is a listener.

The Police Family desk is another agency needing urgent re-education on violence against men. Most of the officers on these desks are women whose skewed views make you cringe in shame.

What have they done quantitatively and qualitatively to improve the situations in their previous engagements

Can we have their values and ethics and their leadership qualities from previous employers, colleagues and maids?

Political appointment comes by lobbying. Qualifications come from going to school. Changing lives come from empathy, vision and patriotism... Are these people visionary, exemplary and empathetic?

Will they deplete the Commonwealth or build this nation for the better?
Time will tell.

There is a deeper side to this. When you provide non functional education which equips individual to be self reliant, this is what you get. RIP to the young man.
