Personally I've bought 5 phones from this page withing the last 30 days and sold ar a decent profit , after almost securing a clone s10 on Ebay, I took it as a cue to wait on our esteemed deal hunters to do the gritty job while I manage the peanuts off reselling , so I apologize to anyone who may have felt offended by my post and albeit shallow personal opinions , I've been duly Informed and I've seen the error of my hasty assumptions or conclusions . Even though your post has been dropped and forgotten already, I'm just seeing it and I'll like to clear some doubts you don't even see coming... But the experienced deal hunters in the game surely knows this. Pay attention!!!

You can see any phone for any price but there is always something different with those phones.

Firstly, when you check those sites where people secure their deals, you'll notice there's no uniform price, sellers put different prices. I'll be using that your same S10 for this analysis, when you check, few sellers will put as low as $300/$350 while some will put $500/$550. Now, at some point all the cheap ones will be bought and sold as TLC by some deal hunters, remaining the expensive ones, now some other hunters are left with the choice to beat down the $500/550 price tag so as to secure the deal at a great price. But no matter how much they try, most of those sellers who put $550 will never come down to $300 (the price they bought the previous ones), they see it as extreme lowballing. Hence, meaning the deal hunters that secured the second category of s10 will sell at a higher price than the first. Why..? The reason lies with the seller and the seller's price!

Secondly, some resellers here will buy the s10 from the deal hunters that secured at $300/$350 with their own money in order to sell to another reseller who's still sleeping while they are awake to see the deal the deal hunter posted. Now, do you expect those resellers who bought the deal from the deal hunter to sell at that same price they bought..? Impossible! Even you can't do that. It goes on and on like that. As a matter of fact, I've posted a deal which was bought by a reseller who sold to another reseller and the last reseller sold to the interested user. That's how every market is!

Thirdly, do you know these phones have different unlock status and locked to different carriers.? Even sellers on those sites knows which carriers lock the phones and they have a rough idea on how much it takes to unlock each carrier, hence reflecting it on the prices. When the S10 just came out, sellers sold the sprint locked very cheap, because it couldn't be unlocked at that time, so many deal hunters rushed it thinking they've gotten sweet deals, keeping their S10s in their wardrobes for long and when the unlock started going, it used to cost a fortune to unlock it. Even up till now that the price has dropped, the cheapest unlock for a Sprint s10 starts from 20k while some goes for as high as 35k.

Now the most important part, there are some special locks which most people are not knowledgeable about. When people buy phones with such locks, they sell them very cheap because the chances of getting a successful unlock on such phones are very low. Even when you do unlock the phone, without using the right method, chances are some parts of the phones will be damaged without people knowing, an example are devices with Chimaera lock policy, MDM, RML etc... Have you seen an S10 whose Secure folder isn't working, Samsung pay, Samsung Healths etc are not working while other parts of the phone is working, simply because the unlock method used on it has affected the Knox security hence affecting the Apps that works with the Knox environment even when Knox isn't triggered. I can bet you'll buy such devices without knowing for a very longtime. Not to mention, the chances of buying the Clone and other things too.

There are so many things to consider like that which most end users don't know, all they see is the price part without considering those important factors. To cut long story short, this thread is still the go to thread for buying legally gotten cheap devices on Nairaland and Nigeria as a whole. I've personally referred so many Non-nairalanders to this thread and they are now using here. People buy and sell in millions everyday on this thread, with very limited issues arising. If you see a phone cheaper elsewhere, go for it... If it's good, your joy. If it has issues, your luck. Don't forget that some people will gladly buy stolen phones knowingly or unknowingly because they are being sold cheaper too, but here we all know how the phones being sold are gotten and we have rest of mind, atleast to a very good extent.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now ,
But what's with the prices of devices lately , I know certain persons really sell TLC deals at amazing prices , I'll refrain from mentioning names to avoid seeming biased , but lately I've come to discover that other than a few new players and certain particular old deal hunters , the other 65% sell at prices that are pretty much not worth calling or referring to as deals .

And for anyone whose gonna say get a nord VPN and visit offerup , yeah I've visited it and I know getting a good deal on a phone isn't all that easy but the idea is , TLC deals ought to be friendly prices , if you wanna make a killing , stick to AIN . I noticed lately that I see better deals on phones in PHONES SECTION than over here , imagine after using the money I kept for getting an S10 hoping I'll get a nice deal here , I'm going to phone section and seeing an s10 for 125k there already in nigeria , Bleep . Though I'm flexing my new phone like mad , no complaint because I'm not a gamer and I doubt there's any multitasking my present phone can't handle but this page has really lost its bearing .

And I'm well aware I can't suggest pricing for anybody , because I don't know how long and how much they toiled to close their deals but please let's be guided , like praddit advised . And for anyone whose gonna make an infuriating or insultive statement , hmmm I'll really advise caution , because I'll definitely respond accordingly.

I'll recommend you go to a decent phone shop and get a hands on feel of both , I've used BlackBerry tecno, infinix , iPhones, and I'm presently using a samsung device and I can assure you , though I've never used a Xiaomi device , there must be a reason behind the hype,

Specwise , xiaomi have the best value for money devices on any category if we're to be entirely sincere , but if you know you don't mind the processor, customisation and software upgrades and updates ,real life camera experience, or battery ( mileage) pardon my grammar then you can settle for any tecno device , personally very few persons will use a phone to 50% of its actual potentials . Conclusively go for what your instincts tells you to , head to head spec wise is different from real life experience . I can bet you the battery mah of the samsung might even last longer than the tecno , I've used an iPhone xr of around 3kmah I dare anybody to bring a 4000mah tecno that will outlast it, or any 32mp camera that is better than my present samsung galaxy note phones camera .
