Evening people. I was just checking around before I stumbled on this thread. In any case I participated in Ernst and Young AC in 2013. Let me share with you guys how ours was. Firstly, in our AC invite we were given a topic to prepare slides on. At the AC each candidate made a presentation on his/her topic. Secondly, we were divided into groups and a task was assigned to us to tackle. Thereafter each group wad called to make their presentation. Note: Each member of the group must make a presentation. As such, I'll advice that in your group endeavour to participate actively as well as contribute intelligently. Please note, as the discussion is going on, the panelist are scoring each candidate. In any case exude a good sense of confidence while making your point and at the same time be an effective team player. Finally, the last activity was impromptu speech. You'll be required to choose a no from 1-40. Each of the nos had a different topic. For any no you choose you'll be told the topic thereafter you're expected to make an approximately two minutes speech on it . The topics span from banking, entertainment, science, education and state of the nation. This activity basically tests how vast you're vis-a-viz your ability to think on your toes. Just be yourself, you'll be fine. Good luck to you all.

Investment / Re: Please Your Professional Advice Is Required! by dabiko(m): 8:21am On Apr 03, 2015
Thanks guys for your thoughts so far. Yes, I know of T.bills but the ROI for that amount considering the trend of rates in recent time is low. I was thinking if there's any other viable and flexible business/investment one can cash in with low risk level and probably moderate returns.

Investment options abound, and it all depends on your risk profile- meaning your risk tolerance or appetite. It also depends on your time horizon without these it may be difficult to advise you. Besides, note that work works for me may not work for you due to our differing risk characteristics. If you are looking at stock market investment, do you have the time and know how to do the required investment selection research, if yes, then think along that line, if not, my advise is to invest in mutual funds where you have professional fund managers manage the investment for you and you have the opportunity for diversification.
Thanks for your input. On some of the issues you raised, I want something that can yield return on the most shortest time available with the minimal risk level. Again, I barely have time due to my work schedule.

During the online application, Chemistry was not included among the listed courses.
Chemistry wasn't in the list, yet Chemistry graduates were invited for the test. Well I leave that for you to ponder on. Meanwhile, don't always be in a hurry to say what you aren't sure of because I remember vividly that Sciences was among the required discipline.

In that case it's safe to conclude that the first set of successful sms were sent based on course of study. I think we got to remain hopeful and prayerful.
