Danny Young has taken to social media to call out Mavin queen, Tiwa Savage for allegedly stealing his lyrics for her new song, “One.”

According to the young singer, Tiwa Savage lifted some of his lyrics in his song ‘Oju Twon’ to make up her song ‘One’.

“I never knew I would be a victim of intellectual property theft until now. The worst pain is that my song was stolen by Tiwa Savage who happens to be one of my favourite female artists,” the singer wrote.

And from the video he shared, fans noticed the similarities in their verses.

However, while many people insist that it wasn’t intellectual theft as the verse was taken from a Yoruba proverb, others added that the Mavin queen included more lines beyond the said proverb.

Some followers were not quite happy after singer, Paul Okoye took to his page to shade his twin brother, Peter Okoye’s wife.

Lola Omotayo had celebrated the estranged twins in an Instagram post yesterday where she wrote,

Not long after her post, Paul Okoye, who was clearly not moved by the wordings, took to his own page and wrote,

Beware of people who preach love outside and inside,plant evil seeds…May God soften their wickedness

Some of his followers were definitely not happy and felt he was shading Peter’s wife and slammed him – he later deleted the post.

This is coming not long after Peter paid tribute to Lola saying she is part of their (P square’s) success story.

After 30 years in doldrums, the new Warri-Itakpe Standard Gauge rail has been completed and would begin commercial operation on Monday, Nov. 19.

Mr Niyi Alli, Director, Operations of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has endeavoured to complete the project.

He confirmed that the train service has been put on test-run, carrying passengers free of charge.

“The Warri-Itakpe, as we all know, the project has been ongoing for a while.

“This administration has endeavoured to complete it and we’ve commenced trial runs since then.

“We intend to commence trial commercial operation without charging people between Warri and Itakpe.

“In the middle of November, we have a target of 19th of November and we are working very seriously to achieve that date.

“It’s going to open up new parts of the country to the railway system, especially areas that have never had train services before in Nigeria.

“So I’m very excited about that and the people around there, are very excited; we are getting a lot of cooperation from the local indigenes from that network area.

“It’s something I’m personally proud of; people are going to see railway again, they’ve seen our service on the Abuja-Kaduna.

“We are going to run a very reliable service, very punctual service and a very safe service,’’ Alli said.

NAN reports that the 327 kilometres-Warri-Itakpe rail line runs from Warri in Delta, through Edo and Ajaokuta and terminate at Itakpe in Kogi in Kogi.

It was conceived more than 30 years ago to connect Nigeria’s Iron Ore Mining and Steel Production belt (Iron Ore Mining Company in Itakpe, Ajaokuta Steel Company, and Delta Steel Company in Aladja, Warri).

Two days ago, singer Duncan Mighty shared a video of an old widow who was filmed dancing to his new song 'Miekeraso' and asked his fans to help him locate the woman.

He announced that he was going to donate a bag of rice, one goat, three wrappers, a cash price of N20k and also promised to pay for her health care.

He wrote: 'Abeg who knows this special mama eeehhh .. mummy u don win immediate medical attention, 1 bag of rice 1 goat ? and 3 wrappers and 20k pls make una help locate her ...... Miekeraso Touching Lives #miekeraso #Born4this.'

After finding the woman, the singer instead surprised her today with a brand new Toyota Camry and also got her registered at a clinic.

Chairman of The Patriots, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, SAN, on Wednesday said he believed former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, would lead the country to greatness.

The head of Igbo Leaders of Thought said this on Wednesday in Enugu when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate met with Igbo leaders.

Segun Sowunmi, spokesman of Atiku Presidential Campaign said Nwabueze got emotional during the meeting.

“This country has never been as divided as it is today. We Igbos have always yearned for a level playing field with justice, equity and fairness.

“The Summit recognized the nomination of His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi Former Governor of Anambra State as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the PDP and fully endorses this nomination.

“It was acknowledged that this nomination puts Ndigbo back in the center of governance. It is therefore important that Ndigbo should rally behind the Atiku/Obi ticket.”

A 24-year-old Air hostess identified as Patrisha Organo, has been hailed for breastfeeding a stranger’s crying baby after the mother ran out of baby formula during a flight.

The air hostess who has a nine-month-old baby named Jade, was working on an early morning domestic flight in the Philippines when she heard the baby’s cries. After making inquiries about the stranger’s crying baby, she offered to breastfeed the infant in another part of the cabin after the baby’s mum who was at wit’s end disclosed that her baby’s formula had finished.

She said:

As soon as I heard the child’s cry, I knew there had to be something that I could do to help.

When the mother told me that she had no formula milk for the child, and I knew that there was none on board, I knew I had to help.

I knew that I could offer my own milk, as I had been breastfeeding my young child myself, so offered up my services.

The baby’s mum who thanked the air hostess over the kind gesture, had been at the airport since the night before. She was even much more grateful after the satisfied baby fell asleep.

Patrisha added:

After I had breastfed the baby I escorted her and her mother back to their seat.

But later on, just before I left, the mother sincerely thanked me for all of my help.

I knew the flight was going to be special to me, as I had just received a promotion in my role, but I didn’t realise it would be this special.

I breastfed a stranger’s baby in flight, and I am just so thankful for the gift of a mother’s milk at times of need.

Police in Ethiopia have discovered a mass grave with 200 bodies near the border between the Somali and Oromia regions of the country.

This discovery comes after hundreds of people have been displaced over the past year by violence in the region. Local media reported that the grave was found during a probe into alleged atrocities committed by the former president of Ethiopia’s Somali region, Abdi Mohammed who is awaiting trial over allegations he fueled ethnic clashes.

A notorious regional security force known as the Liyu police is accused of carrying out killings in the area between the Somali and Oromia regions and it reported directly to the regional president. The police are trying to identify the 200 bodies found.

Mohammed was forced to resign in August and was arrested weeks later after violence broke out in the regional capital, Jijiga. He is alleged to have overseen widespread rights abuses including torture, rape and killings during his 13-year rule.
