How many markets

1.Have stalls built out of fire retardant materials.

2.Have fire safety drills every month

3.Have fire extinguishers at strategic positions.

4.Have fire safety lectures for traders.

5.Have properly built buildings.Have electricals been properly installed.? Access routes (The fire in Kano was made worse by faulty electrical equipment and zero access routes...for the firemen to come in and fight the fire.Infact the Fire Serivce in Kano complained that they could not get to the source on time because the route was blocked. And it was probably by illegaly placed stores.).

6.Are tidy (A lot of the garbage in many markets are flammable).

7) Properly store fuel for generating sets.

Insurance? Do traders get themselves insured.? (Banks do it).

9) Have safe exit routes.

10) Are located in cities with proper fire services .Infact....how is the Nigeria Fire Serivce? Is it equipped with the proper equipment to put out fires.?(You cannot use water to put out all types of fires)

If there is a fire in any market in Nigeria....blame the market people, the market management, the local government, and the state for the fire. Don't look elsewhere.

When I lived abroad...the flats where i lived had strategically placed fire extinguishers on every floor.And the building was built to code.

PDP Please, stop your election propaganda. Even if we do not vote APC in 2019, we are not voting PDP. There are new young political parties coming up everyday. Just give up and spear us internet bandwidth.

Now i am not an APC or PDP fan, i am more of a civil rights person. But my goal in life, (and many civil rights movements in the nation) is to keep PDP out of power. infact it is part of the Agenda. Nobody will ever vote PDP again. That is 50years of slavery. It does not mean we will always vote APC.
My point is I am tired of seeing propaganda blasting APC. Let them do their jobs. The truth is we criticize Buhari and PDP sees this as some form of endorsement for PDP. No it s not.

The country is in transition. It won't be easy, but it worth the try. I see slams on APC about fuel scarcity, no jobs, etc. Did we have fuel in PDP regime, even when we had how much was it. PDP take our resources sell it to European masters and pocket the money for themselves like Nigeria belongs to them.

What kind of jobs did we have under PDP regime? Ghost workers just collecting milk and milo, 50,000 every month not really doing anything? PDP has wrecked the entire nation. Not because it stole money, but because it set an unacceptable culture of mindlessness and zombification.
