Jokes EtcRe: Prettiest Wife by dachamp(m): 1:26am On Aug 18, 2007
@folanusi
A man pulls up to the front of a church in a brand new 2007 model s-class Mercedes Benz. The pastor knowing that men (especially rich ones) like to be proud of their wives beauty announces, today every man will give an offering according to the beauty of his wife.

The entire male congregation come out with wads of money (thousands & millions) to prove that they have got the prettiest wife.

But the man in the Benz simply comes out and drops 10 Naira in the offering box. The pastor amazed walks up to the man and says, did u not hear me? I said everyone would make an offering according to the beauty of his wife,

To which the man replied. I heard you,
Pastor: where is your wife?
Man: she’s in the car.

The pastor rushes to the car to have a word with the wife, as he opened the car door and saw the wife, he shouted to the usher

Usher, please give that man 5 Naira change!!!
Nice one!

CultureRe: If You Are From EDO STATE, Represent The HeartBeat of the Nation by dachamp(m): 12:20am On Aug 15, 2007
@Gamine

You are fast spoiling the rapport that was brewing here. My advice to you is to try another thread instead of being rude and insulting. People tried explaining the reason to you but you are fixated with trying to start an argument.
The topic is " If you from EDO State, Represent. The Heart Beat of the Nation". And you were accusing someone of being tribalistic. Where is the tribalism? Would have been better if the poster had just addressed the topic to the Binis and the Ishans is it?
No one would know you are stupid except you actually open your mouth to speak. Next time zip it if you have no meaningful contribution to make.
@Tornadoz
Tnx for the advice. Nigerian probs. we claim to know everything
Christianity EtcRe: Oh God, Tunde Bakare Again! by dachamp(m): 12:06am On Aug 15, 2007
@Allta

6. On the point that Muslim being God-sent, I think i'm happy with the answer someone gave on this one. But just to add to it, you don't have to be a Christian for "God" to use you. As Christians believes, if he can turn dry dead bones into a mighty Army, and use stones to replace even we humans, then we shouldn't question him on who to use in situations like these. As Nigerians, let's lot create a religious boundary, or an ethnic barrier amongst ourselves. It's high time Nigeria moved on!
You said it all bro

why!!! are you guyS judging MAN OF GOD huhGod said,in the bible that we shld not JUDGE!!!He owns the GOOD and the EVIL,and does that ,that pleases HIM.for those who are condemning bakare 's prophecies, you guys shld BEWARE!!!.or else -------------------GOD fit shift una mouth go una back. Cheesy Grin Grin Shocked
Na wao!

Anyway, lets not take this issue of prophency too far, after all we're all entitle to our opinion.
Tunde Bakare, spoke his mind.

Please i hands off totally from this. I eat all my words o. Please forex is not lucrative again o, abeg. Dont bother emailing me because my image is more important than all this rubbish insinuations born out of halfbaked research from 'puffed egos'.

To all the sensible Nairaland Users. I'm sorry for the strong language. Just a bit infuriated. Others like the famous Mr Ibidapo lawal of www.forexexposed.com earns 5 figures (in dollars) from Forex. Its no big deal. Keep doing what you've been doing and you'll remain where you've always been. Knowledge is power.

CultureWhy Do Nigerians Go Crazy For A Tittle? by dachamp(op): 3:58am On Aug 08, 2007
To be addressed as a Mr, Mrs or Ms in Nigerian social circles means you are a nobody. To be a mover or shaker you need to be a chief - or to at least hold a doctorate. The prob. of traditional tittles seem to be spreading accross the continent.
Your comments about the importance of traditional titles in Africa and whether they are still relevant
