I still have 36 units in my meter, the meter is still blinking as usual but no light in my apartment.

Thought it was an electrical issue and called an electrician who charged me and after about 30 minutes of guess work, concluded I call on AEDC staff. I did and I was told my meter cover was left open and it has triggered tamper Mode and charged me 50k to provide me with a 20-digit code to clear it.

I tell an say I no get that amount make him reduce but the guy no gree o.

Please someone with similar experience should help me out.

How did you resolve it please?

You no suppose allow electrician touch your meter. You should have gone to their office and register your complaint or call their customer service to do same. With some patience it would had been sorted. I had same issue last week here in Lagos, I went to their office only to discover they were having a protest and no staff was allowed to enter their office. I tried talking to one of their staff for advice nah so the guy say make I bring 15k him go follow me go house but I go pay him transport. I laughed. I had no choice than to call their customer service . It was resolved under 72hrs. Their staff came, checked and sent me the 20 digits code.

Corpers in rural area of that state are really suffering. I have a female friend who is currently serving there, mehn she can't wait to finish her mandatory service there. No electricity to charge your phone, you have to treck a long distance to get water for bathing or cooking even to go to market to buy food stuff nah die. Corpers have to contribute money and give to one person to go to the market for them just to reduce cost and stress.

Oga he didn't come last, he came 3rd base on what INEC announced. By the way, in Imo state, the current governor came 3rd but he is the current governor, so anything is possible.

Is this guy a spoke person or a minister. This is one of the problems we have in Nigeria, no one is holding this guy accountable for the position he is occupying. I have not seen him come to talk in any interactive programme on TV or radio about how to solve our unemployment issues or whatever plan he is proposing in that regards as a minister of labour and employment. The guy just carry this election for head.

I was born and bred in Sapele,i know most of my peers I'm extremely smarter than. My kids were born in Delta state,and i try to make them have a feel of Delta life by taking them to Delta state to spend time withy Dad in Sapele occasionally. My kids are street smart and more coordinated than most of their Lagosian peers. Simply put,Delta kids have a different kinda smartness.
