I would like to know from experienced Taxify drivers and customers is it advisable to always follow the route on the app even if you know a shorter route or one with less traffic?

Please Recommend a really good therapist that you know in Lagos preferably on the mainland.

As earlier highlighted, the only section that I worked on was the main board (the upper part in the video). I didn't touch the battery at all, aside disconnecting it from the board. So, yes! It's similar in that regard.
All activities were ONLY carried out on the upper section, so you may only focus on that section of the video and how to remove the housing.

What you need:
1) Cellphone prying tools and screwdrivers kit (you can get this separately or with the digitiser or full screen)
2) Digitiser or full LCD+digitiser @ $7-9 and $19-25 respectively.

Tool 1 was ordered before the incident happened, so, it came in handy abt a week after the crack and I decided to separate the digitiser from the LCD which was successful at N1000. I separated it cuz if I'm buying full screen, the original LCD won't be useful again anyway, so, if damaged during the process of separation, no wahala.
Placed order for the digitiser. Separated the housing/case from the phone using the plastic spud and picks. Unscrew the nuts and detached all the connected flexes, the FP sensor and other necessary components attached to the upper board. Removed the board and test the new digitiser.
After being satisfied, fixed all components back and gave it to the tech. to permanently fix the digitiser to the body.
So, amount? <3k in all.
That's all.

if you're buying the full screen, you can fix it yourself without any ish or give it to a good technician and pay ≤1000. Fixed mine this month. Go with the tools that will accompany the screen for neat separation.

Could you please explain fully how did you go about fixing yours what parts and tools did you buy
and how much did it cost?

You'll need to order for it from AliExpress, both screen and digitiser, then give to a technician to replace. Should take within 3 weeks to deliver and costs less than 10k both to buy and fix it.

First to comment after many years I debuted on nairaland.

Meanwhile let me pass a message, in a few weeks I will be migrating out of Nigeria permanently. I have realised there is no hope being an ordinary citizen in this hell hole of a country.

Nigeria is a country of the rich and elite class, lawless and if you are in this category, you live like a king. However the poor and middle class are doomed for life.
