The internet is currently awash, following a threat message an APC Chieftain and Tinubu's supporter sent to an Obidient, who has been Campaigning seriously for Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour.

In a threat message making rounds online, the APC Chieftain identified as Balogun Lukman Olumide, said that the parents of the Obi supporter will cry over him.

After the picture and location of the APC Man behind the account was exposed, he rushed an tweeted that his account was hacked and the threat message didn't emanate from him.

The Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State has said the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, still remains its candidate in the 2023 general elections.

The party insisted that it would support all its candidates in the state and Atiku as its preferred presidential candidate.

The party’s state Public Relations Officer, Akeem Olatunji, disclosed this in a telephone chat with The PUNCH in Ibadan on Monday.

It will be recalled that Atiku and five other governors under the party have been at daggers drawn over the removal of Iyorchia Ayu and the need for the South to produce the party’s National Chairman.

Olatunji said, “Our party in Oyo State is not alien to the PDP at the national level. PDP is still our party and is doing well, and we have a candidate, which is Atiku Abubakar. Atiku is still the candidate for the PDP in the state.

“Even the four other governors, have they ever told you that they have other candidates?

“The only thing in the state is that Governor Seyi Makinde is the biggest brand to market any candidate in the state, so as far as we are concerned, we are marketing all our candidates in the state under the PDP with the GSM brand, and as far as we are concerned, Atiku Abubakar is one of the candidates. So when it comes to party matters, we don’t have any other candidate than Atiku Abubakar.”

Almost every member of LP campaign team and national executives have been found guilty or alleged to be robbers and rogues, the latest being Doyin Okupe, wither the way forward for Obedients? I agree this must be very embarrassing time for them. They are the ones claiming they wanted a new Nigeria. But paradoxically, all those in leadership positions including Peter Obi have been found wanting in terms of integrity test. The whole LP and PO campaign appear to be a charade, a complete disaster and macabre dance. Obi appears to have lost the election long before the poll.

I received the revelation in September, but I have been reluctant to speak. God showed me that Tinubu will put Nigeria on the part of greatness.

I already knew he had the knowhow to do it. But, I was still listening to other candidates and the supporters. Right now, I am obliged to preach the message of a better Nigeria that Asiwaju is going to usher in.

Tinubu is not interested in embezzling any money. He is greatly blessed already. And, this is the first time no cabal is contributing to the sponsorship of the candidacy of the Presidential candidate to beat.
