Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has vowed that he won’t disappoint President Muhammadu Buhari if elected president of the country in 2023.
Tinubu made this vow at a private dinner organised by family and very close associates of President Buhari, to celebrate his 80th birthday tagged “Celebrating A Patriot, a Leader, an Elder Statesman.”

The APC flag bearer thanked President Buhari for sacrificing a lot for the progress of Nigeria.
He said, “You have been at the helm of the affairs of this country at a critical time. We have seen a life of commitment, dedication, patriotism and honesty. Mr President, you have done well for your country. Our nation has seen the difference, the leadership that you demonstrate.”
He said they belong to the class of leaders who came and served their country with commitment, dedication patriotism and honesty.
He likened Buhari to leaders like “Charles De Gaulle of France, Franklin Roosevelt of America, Winston Churchill of Great Britain and Buhari of Nigeria.”
The APC flag bearer who was in attendance with his running mate, Kashim Shettima, said: “The leadership you have demonstrated reminded me of the speech you gave at the Primary Convention when you won the nomination. You thanked the people with all humility and said even if you had the money, you would not have paid. But that is because, they know who you are, a man of integrity, great commitment, transparency and a exceptional humility.”
Tinubu prayed that “God will continue to spare you to see the history as you want it for the country, the ship of this nation will be on the right course. You will live long to enjoy a nice evening of democracy that you brought about.
“When you talk of PVC, card reader, transparency and honesty in the electoral process like you did, we can only promise not to let you down. Enjoy 80 till you celebrate other birthdays.”

Forensic report admitted as exhibit today at the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke duly won the July 16 election with 402,349 votes to beat Mr Gboyega Oyetola who polled 374,256.

The report which the Tribunal accepted as a key document posited that the above figures were arrived at after reviewing cases of irregulaties.

The forensic expert, Mr Samuel Oduntan posited that "pursuant to the Order of this Honourable Tribunal dated 2nd day of September, 2022 directing the 1st Respondent (INEC) to allow the 2nd Respondent inspect all the electoral materials used in the conduct of the Osun State Governorship Election, the 2nd Respondent instructed me to carry out the physical inspection as well as digital forensic examination on the BVAS machine devices used for the election.

Noting that he is familiar with all relevant Electoral Documents based on experience since 1999 viz: Voter Registers, Form EC8 series, EC25 Series, EC40 series, Ballot papers, other relevant electoral forms / Guidelines and electoral devices, Oduntan noted that the Respondent instructed him to carry out statistical analysis on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) form EC8 Series used during the conduct of the election and also to carry out Digital Forensic Examination of the BVAS machines used in the conduct of election

"I examined the following documents (materials) / BVAS machices obtained from or supplied by INEC: CTC of Forms EC8A, EC8B, EC8C & EC8D ii) CTC of Forms EC40G (where provided) iii) INEC Osun State Directory of Polling Units, 2022 iv) BVAS Authentication Report v) BVAS Machines vi) INEC Regulations and Guidelines for the conduct of elections, 2022 and (vii) Manual for Election Officials 2022.

The report posited that of the 750 polling units being challenged by the petitioner, only six have issues as per over-voting as alleged in the petition with 771 votes of APC affected while affected votes of the PDP was 1, 022.

According to the report, votes of parties on EC8D were 375, 027 for APC and 403,371 for PDP. Less votes affected by irregularities are 771 for APC and 1, 022 for PDP.

According to the report, votes of parties after deduction was put at 374, 256 (APC) and 402, 349 (PDP).

Mr Oduntan who brilliantly defended the forensic report said the observations were reached in consonance with the global best practices required of a Statistician / Forensic Examiner in reaching the observations and discoveries made therein.

There was no changes in other previous elections because the elections were conducted in the same electoral laws.
In 2023 there will be a different electoral laws, BVAS will be used, there will be electronically transmission of results.
Don't forget that in 2007 the election the ELECTION was rigged, even the president agree with that
In 2011 the election was rigged
In 2015 the election was rigged, even the igbos agree with it.
In 2019 the election was rigged even the south east attested to it.
Therefore, if 2023 didn't change then the 2023 is also rigged. But if the result change because of BVAS then that shows BVAS is really working.

The Department of State Security Service in Imo state on Wednesday disclosed that its operatives had arrested the kingpins of constant attacks in the state.

The Director of the Department in the state, Wilcox Idaminabo, who spoke at a stakeholders meeting in Owerri, the state capital, with the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Sylvia Agu, said that the secret police and other security agencies were committed to ensuring that lasting peace reigns in the state.

He disclosed that the agency had made a major breakthrough in fighting insecurity in the state.

Idaminabo informed that the kingpins who masterminded the attack at the INEC headquarters in Owerri recently and other government facilities had been arrested.

The DSS director said the department had also dislodged the bandits’ camp at Orsu, where the hoodlums had made their headquarters.

According to him, the constant raid by operatives of SSS led to the arrest of one Mike Ahize, who he said is the leader of the hoodlums in the Orsu Local Government Area of the state.
