VonSmallhausen: Good one by the Lads.
What we need now is to anticipate one of those their massed attacks against a large base and prepare a counter offensive to meet them head on, complete with motorised troops and armored vehicles. Catch like 300 to 400 of them massed in the open and just over run them before they can disperse. we need to give them a casualty count in the hundreds to act as a real deterrent.
I recall during the earlier days in 2013/14 or so when artillery or an air attack caught boko haram forming up around konduga (Bornu State)...it was a slaughter. The pix were on Beegeagles blog back then. We need a major victory like that again i tell you. You should become a consultant to DHQ!! They just attempted NBLC Baga with massed heavy attacks as described for over 2 hours....... And failed woefully. God bless AFN for this win and more to come |

Biodun556: India appeared to have lost confidence in its airforce Their navy and air defence Forces put up the best performances during Op Sindoor hence this comment from their Defence Minister, not necessarily loss of confidence in IAF. Your statement means Pakistan should dismantle and throw away PAF seeing as their aircraft weren't even allowed to leave hanger for take off before being destroyed! |
Family › Re: Living With Parents At 37 by DaddyGoo: 11:23am On May 30, 2025 |
SultanOfPuna: I have lived alone in apartment from 2019 to 2023 Due to financial struggles i relocated to my parents house 2023 since then i'm still with them
Now its 2 years and i have gotten financially stable and solid. I want to leave but my parents are old and they want me to be around them at this stage of their life.
My parents are really old My siblings are all married except me. My siblings are in different states far away from my parents. I'm the only one closer to them
I'm the one taking care of the house and making sure things are in order. But deep down i want to leave the house and go create my own family.
If i leave them and move out i fear that things will be out of order and disorganised due to old age. Unfortunately no younger sibling to help look after them.
What should i do? Do what you need to do but stay close to them for you don't know the day they will join their Maker! My mom made this same request that I stay and I declined due to my job at the time. I forever regret this because e no tey she come sick. By force I had to spend that time with her in the hospital till she passed away. Knowing what I know now, I would advise you thus. |
Food › Re: RE: This Is Not For Civil Servants, A Mockery Masquerading As Marketing by DaddyGoo(op): 3:52pm On May 27, 2025 |
Civil servants deserve the mockery in my opinion, and I speak as someone who worked with and around them for almost a decade.
Especially the wicked ones in offices that never go out to or interact with the real world (non-operations).
Think of positive contributions to grow the nation? No Allow your colleagues that want to do the above to do it? Never, I will rather die! Allow the ones Nigerians submit to fly? No, unless you give me a cut.
Okay do your basic job description then. No I will not, unless you give me something for lunch.
To crown it all, Nigerian civil servants are by default supposed to be the largest group of farmers in Nigeria and I daresay Africa.
This is the only occupation/vocation they are allowed apart from their day job.
So why are they and their pressure groups led by the NLC not doing more about tackling hunger and simultaneously getting rich?!
Who says they cannot afford such luxuries if they put proper eye on their government given status as the largest farmers group in the country?!!
This is my small submission on why I feel the majority(not all) of them deserve this mockery.
Nigeria we hail thee! |

And if I tell you that I'm going on a girls vacation, don't ask me who's paying for the vacation... Just watch and go ahead and do you while I do me. This exact mindset is why nowadays many marriages no dey last past a week! |

AustineE1: Sometimes it seems some are paid to deceive others,5k on band A,means 20kwh.Just pumping water alone from the borehole can take 90% of that within 2wks,Once you on the AC for 4 hours a day,it can take more than 2 units daily, then your fridges ,television, lightnings and other electrical appliances will burn up the rest within 5 days . How then did you come up with what you are saying? When people are doing illegal and come outside to admit it, this is the result!! Use of GIS softwares to grid map the state will also help with optimal deployment of these machines.
Best results will be achieved if combined with use of agro drones. |

Originalsly: Currently...do we send at least 1500 blood samples to be tested? I doubt it. What is the cost to process each sample? ...and the cost to run the facility? How many countries will be using our cutting edge ultra modern lab for it to be such a revenue earned and add to our reserves? ...or will it help drain our reserves? I'm not a fan of having such a facility here because the FG is never interested in supporting sports ...only exploiting it and this will be business as usual. Only football can generate that number . Eagles and Falcons play at least 4 friendlies yearly for each squad. Before you talk about qualifiers or the main events like AFCON and WC. Club football (NNFL, CAF Champions League, WAFU Cup etc) too requires doping tests. We never mention age-grade teams for this matter. And we also haven't yet involved our West African neighbors. Or other sports, as virtually all professional sports are WADA governed. You now realise the scale of possibility where it's stated that NO AFRICAN country has such facility. Not Egypt, Not Morocco, Not South Africa. Not the biggest fan of this government but give them their flowers here. It is MASSIVE if well executed. |
