c. Criticizing the players in public was the best way out..

4. Considering the fact that Mourihno prefers to soak up pressure and counter attack, is it the likes of Blind you wanna see soaking up pressure at the back? Memphis Depay leading counter attacks? ?

In as much as I agree with some of your points, i doubt if the Portuguese can turn our fortunes around this season - he might actually worsen the situation of things.

Despite the annoying nature of Van Gaal's possession football, it has actually helped in protecting the weaklings in our defence. As we both know, Mourihno would rather park the bus, and mehn... really don't fancy our chances with this approach....especially with our present crop of players.

It might sound funny but guy, this is how I see it...

Since there's no guarantee that Mourihno will succeed, it's better to employ Giggs and fail..rather than employ someone who was axed for turning the league champions into relegation battlers, only for him to fail again.

Unlike Gundogan and Bastian you talked about, Fabregas & Cazorla players are not tasked with defensive duties, so the comparison doesn't cut it.

I think the Pivot in the 4-2-3-1 formation is grossly misunderstood and has been used inappropriately on numerous occasions..
