Ikedia needed his quickness to do something within 10 to 20 yards. He could go a half field but it was usually stop and move, stop and move. Swerve, turn, dribble, run to advance.

Sterling and Val have great speed. Sterling could rival Val sometimes, but while Val can go on high speed for 100 yards, Sterling needs it for just 10 to 20 yards.

Enough people were disappointed in our failure to land Vidal (at that exorbitant price speculated that time) but at the end of the day, it seems that decision actually turned out to be a good one.

Don't get me wrong - I know the risk factor (no matter how small) would always be there even when signing the best/most in-form player in the world and there would always be disparities as to wether that player is actually worth that amount but Abeg, it isn't out of place for us to "look before we leap"...especially when a lot of money is involved.

Mata hasn't done enough to show he deserves to start over Fellani and he had his chance.
He isn't particularly fast,his dribbling skill seems to have eroded and can easily be muscled off the ball.
At least with fellani we know he can hold the ball well and lay it to the wing.(We should aim higher but for now I don't think we've a choice)

It isn't as if I have been impressed with Mata's form but heck -at a big club, no be person like fellaini suppose dey hin starting position due to loss of form or whatever reason.
