Hello guys, personally I own a volvo v40 estate 1998 model m/t going to two months now since I acquired it nd has really shown to be a good ride. The parts are unbelievably cheap in d market. Imagine a full 16 valve engine going for as low as 40k. The car has got good suspension and smooth handling. What's funny is dat I got a lot of discouraging comments from pple wen I indicated my interest in d volvo brand, every one was yapping about jap vehicles but I stuck my gun after considering wot I find most important I.e availability of parts and maintenance costs which I found to be okay. With regular servicing u can't go wrong with a volvo cos it is as rugged as a merc. The only setback is getting a very good and experienced mech considering that our mechs are archaic and don't attempt to upgrade themselves with latest developments in automobiles rather they attempt trial and error method which most of the time messes up ur car and the try to cover up by convincing u that a particular brand is not good.
