'Scam' is a big word. The way you people use it easily on this forum sometimes makes me shiver.

A scammer sets out to defraud from day-one. He doesn't decide to do that midway into the business. Not every business gone wrong is a scam. Scammers don't refund their victims willingly.

Every one that reads through the details of the transaction and still calls it a scam deserves a ban.

Was Jainine defrauded ? Looking at it from her angle, she was defrauded and scammed , cos she paid for something waited for it 10days and seller came back (without prior notice during the 10days period) to say she needs it is for personal use(that is not reasonable enough IMO) . And Jainine felt scammed, she felt cheated . Before nko, What do you expect her to say? she was scammed.
Could Justi4jesu have a reason for refund? Glitches happen, Yes, but something looks shady in between.
In fairness to Justi4jesu, she has been here for long and has gathered lots of reputation but permit me, attitude is zero rudeness is high score for her . All of this wouldn't have been happening with a better treatment of customer if genuine reason be.
She only needs work on that abeg.

It is because paypal wants Nigerians to be checking out in naira (dcc) and GTBank don't allow dcc. Unfortunately, the dcc by PayPal is automatic and not optional, so you can't select another currency as GTBank is suggesting.
Time will tell the solution either from paypal or from nigerian banks
