Science/TechnologyFirst Warm-blooded Fish Found! by DaimlerBen(op):

The car-tire-size opah is striking enough thanks to its rotund, silver body. But now, researchers have discovered something surprising about this deep-sea dweller: It's got warm blood.
That makes the opah (Lampris guttatus ) the first warm-blooded fish ever discovered.
Most fish are ectotherms, meaning they require heat from the environment to stay toasty. The opah, as an endotherm, keeps its own temperature elevated even as it dives to chilly depths of 1,300 feet (396 meters) in temperate and tropical oceans around the world.
"Increased temperature speeds up physiological processes within the body," study leader Nicholas Wegner, a biologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries' Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California, told Live Science. "As a result, the muscles can contract faster, the temporal resolution of the eye is increased, and neurological transmissions are sped up. This results in faster swimming speeds, better vision and faster response times."
The result, Wegner said, is a fast-swimming fish with an advantage for hunting slow, cold-blooded prey...

For that price, you could run a mid-table Formula 1 team or two back table teams, every Aston Martin sold in the UK last year, three Bloodhound SSC's (the 1609km/hr car), 77 Bugatti Veyrons (more than a quarter of the Veyron population)...

It can be done, but it's still a massive undertaking. You'll still have to find a way to control boost, and retard the ignition timing when boost comes in. You'll need to lower the compression ratio too.

That carburettor won't supply nearly enough fuel, lean running under boost will result in melted pistons.

What exhaust manifold will you use anyway?
So you're saying one would have to give the car an "ECU" of sorts and change to injection? I don't know much about the types of manifolds. It's a 200E, too much sentiments attached to throw away, yet thirsty and a little slow for my liking.

You can't simply "add" a turbocharger, or supercharger to a naturally-aspirated engine. It's not a simple, bolt-on affair. The internals, exhaust, fuelling, ECU map etc will all need to be modified.

And as per how fast your car will go if charged, there are NO accurate answers that can be given.

Do you actually know how forced induction works??
How about on a carburetted car with no ECU, say, a Merc W123?

From children's books to TV commercials, the idea that cats are wild about milk is constantly reinforced. Yet what pop culture fails to show is what happens shortly after that bowl of milk is empty. The cute kitty peacefully lapping away at a bowl of fresh milk is likely to spend the next few hours suffering from diarrhea, gas, bloating and other unpleasant side effects.
Cats, like most adult mammals (including the majority of humans), are lactose intolerant. That means they lack the enzymes needed to break down lactose , or sugars found in milk. A bowl of milk isn't likely to be deadly, but the aftereffects are likely to trouble both the cat and the owner who's forced to clean up the mess. If your cat seems to tolerate milk to an extent, or you simply want to offer your cat something special, consider milk like any other treat.
Since milk has little nutritional value to the cat, it's no substitute for proper cat food, and should be served to the cat with the same care that you would any other human foods or commercial cat treats. That means making sure that milk and other treats make up only 10 to 15 percent of a cat's diet.
To prevent obesity, consider limiting milk to no more than 20 to 30 calories per day. Since a cup of skim milk weighs in at 83 calories, give your cat no more than a few spoonfuls to avoid potential weight problems. Consider lactose-free milk or goat's milk to reduce digestive problems.
So what about kittens? Surely they need milk, right? While kittens have the ability to digest some lactose, their bodies simply aren't designed to deal with the level of lactose found in cow's milk, which has about three times as much lactose as that of a momma cat.
Drinking regular milk will not only give kittens diarrhea, but will also cause them to slowly starve to death if their diet isn't properly supplemented. The ratio of caseins and whey in cow's milk is nowhere near sufficient to support a growing kitten. If you're attempting to nurse kittens without the help of mom, pick up special cat's milk at the pet store. This "milk" is specially formulated to provide the right ratio of caseins and whey to meet the nutritional needs of kittens without the painful digestive issues associated with cow's milk.

2 should go first cos its going straight
1&3 should have braked
1 should go next because it can cause little interference
3 should be the last
Shouldn't the vehicle that could cause the most interference go next?
3 is on a major highway, with Dangote & Maersk trucks coming at high speed from behind him grin .
