A lady who is set to get married, has revealed how she first met her fiance in Mami market at the NYSC camp in Ogun state in 2015. The couple identified Oghene Ochuko and Udo Mfreke Effong, first met themselves in 2015 during their days as Corps members and lost touch few months after passing out - only to be reunited in 2018.

They are now set to wed tradtionally on Thursday, March 28 while the White wedding will take place on Saturday, March 30th.

I remember the first hello in 2015 at Ogun State NYSC orientation camp stadium Sagamu where we went for band rehearsals after our inauguration as corp members. Yes it was love at first sight but then it wasn't just in for that 3weeks camp relationship. It was after the first rehearsals that day he asked for my number so I can call and remind him the time for the next rehearsals. I relunctantly gave out my number"Story! which rehearsals brother was up to something else.

Later that night, a call came in, guess what he was the one calling, asking me to meet him at Mami market.But bros we are not rehearsing this night now I replied , he laughed and said he just wanted to have a discussion with me. We couldn't see that night all our conversation was now on the phone, waking up to his calls and sleeping with his calls...(oh Dah Love don start ooo lmao).

Oh and how can I forget the plenty plenty fresh fish pepper soup with white rice at Mani market that year especially the one during Camp fire night although those wicked soldiers did not allow me to finish it(wicked soldiers). I can recal crying like a baby when leaving the house because of the small money mum and dad gave me to take to camp but at the end I didn't spend a dime. Chai, praise the Lord somebody!.

After the plenty plenty love during NYSC and few months after NYSC we lost each others contact all thanks to Facebook that connected us back in February 2018. We started dating February 2018,he asked and I said yes in October 2018. Join us as we make this right come 28th n 30th March 2019.

This lovely couple have been making the rounds online and the reason is obvious. The Nigerian couple decided to use a tipper for their wedding ceremony due to reasons best known to them.

According to Facebook user Ini Frank, the couple recently tied the knot in one of the communities in Akwa Ibom state and the event was graced by family and friends. Congratulations to them.

Last year, a couple went viral on social media after they used a tipper to wed in Abia State.

The groom, his bride and bridal maids could be seen on top of the tipper as friends and family members tried to take photos and videos of them.

A man has been apprehended for allegedly trying to rape a 15-year-old girl in a hotel in Egbeda area of Lagos. The incident happened on Wednesday, March 27th.

It was gathered that the suspect was trying to forcefully have sex with the teenage girl who was running away from abuse at her sister's house and wanted to go to her mother's house.

In a video posted online, the girl narrated how the man offered to help after seeing her on the road early this morning by 5am as he urged her to join him in the hotel. He told her to have her bath in the hotel and eat something before going to her mother's place when the day breaks well.

The girl who felt uneasy in the hotel room - refused to lay on the bed and relax after being told by the suspect to. She claimed she told him she wanted to leave, that was when the suspect tried to forcefully have his way with her before she shouted and drew the attention of others who nabbed the man.

Residents of Igboeze north local government area of Enugu state, have been gripped with fear after a lady was found dead in a bush in the community.

It was gathered that the deceased was allegedly raped, according to the villagers as she was found partially unclad with her underwear missing.

Her corpse was discovered in the bush early this morning, thereby throwing the community into panic as to what led to her death.

The villagers notified the police who arrived the scene to evacuate the corpse and begin investigation into the death.

A policeman who doubles as a motorcyclist otherwise known as Okada man - has landed in trouble after assaulting a young lady and others in Delta state.

According to reports, the victim was on her way for an errand in Sapele area when she was approached by the policeman on mufti who wanted her to board his bike but she ignored him. The policeman identified as Steven allegedly held her hand after that and in the process of trying to forcefully remove his hands from her, the girl was given a hot slap.

This was said to have annoyed the girl who rushed the officer and told him to 'kill her'. The policeman allegedly descended on the girl with more beatings.

The victim's elder sister who was around came out and confronted the officer over the beating. She also received her portion of slap from the policeman. Another resident who witnessed the incident, came to the ladies' defence but was given his own slap. The man reportedly rushed the policeman who drew out his gun before he left the scene.

After being identified as a policeman, the assaulted sisters tracked him down to the station where they went to make a complaint but were refused by the officer at the counter.

Finally, the DPO was called after much chaos and after listening to the victim's story and seeing her battered face, the accused officer was ordered to be put in a cell and promised to be dealt with.

Angry supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), destroyed the portrait of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, at the Kano government house yesterday after accusing him of supporting the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the supplementary election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had on Sunday night, announced the incumbent governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as the winner of the governorship election in Kano State, thereby returning him for a second term in office.

The supporters of governor Ganduje used ladders to climb the coronation hall in the government house to remove the portrait/picture of the monarch to show their displeasure with him.

According to media reports, a 35-year-old Nigerian man was beaten up by a group of locals in India for allegedly manhandling two traffic constables who stopped him in west Delhi’s Dwarka for riding a two-wheeler without wearing a helmet.

A police officer said the incident occurred on Monday morning. “A PCR call was received at 10.40 am regarding a quarrel. When the police reached the spot, it was found that the Nigerian simply identified as Prince tried to escape a fine and picked a fight with two traffic police constables,” he said.

“The people around found him physically attacking the two (constables). So they interfered and started beating him up,” he added. The foreigner has been identified as Prince. “He was riding his scooter without wearing a helmet at Dwarka Mor. One constable tried to stop him and he escaped while the other one a bit ahead got hold of him. Not ready to pay the fine, he started fighting,” the police officer said.

On the basis of the complaint received by the Traffic Police, a case has been registered against Prince under Sections 186 (of obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) and 353 (sssault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and an investigation is ongoing, said the officer.

A former aviation minister and the spokespersons for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mr Osita Chidoka, has been suspended indefinitely from the royal council in Obosi, Anambra state. According to reports, the suspension has stripped him of the chieftaincy title, Ike Obosi.

He was suspended along with others for bringing to the palace of Igwe Obosi - the corpses of two All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) members killed during the Idemili north & south federal constituency supplementary election between Hon Ibezi and Hon Obinna Chidoka on Saturday, 9th of March.

The dead bodies were taken to the Igwe Obosi's palace and dumped there with instructions to take them to Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano. Also suspended are Chief Linus Mgbakogu (Atta Obosi) and Chief Hyman Udemba (Aka Mposi Obosi).

According to Obosi tradition, Igwe can not see corpse. And Osita Chidoka being a chief in Obosi knew that bringing those dead bodies to Igwe is a taboo.

The rivalry in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos chapter, appears to have been brought to an end, following the reunion between the union executives yesterday.

The NURTW top shots, Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle a.k.a Sego, Alhaji Azeez Lawal a.k.a Kunle Poly and Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo, were pictured together in an event which was led by Imam Offa who preached about peace and unity as can be seen in a video posted online.

After the clash at the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) governorship flag off campaign in Ikeja area of Lagos on Tuesday, 8th January 2019, the NURTW national leadership earlier suspended Azeez Lawal, popularly called Kunle Poly.

Kunle Poly was alleged to be responsible for the disruption of the APC rally and the stabbing of MC Oluomo.

A pastor has been arrested for allegedly impregnating a teenage girl in Benin, Edo state capital. It was gathered that the General Overseer of Gloryland Church, Pastor Ekene Samuel, was apprehended for impregnating and procuring abortion for a teenage member of his church identified as Miracle.

Different charms were also found at the residence of Pastor Ekene. Police said Pastor Ekene charmed and had sex with the 17-year-old Miracle in December 2018.

Pastor Ekene was arrested after one Henry Aikhuaman reported that Miracle was missing. It was gathered that Miracle was later found on a sick bed at Graceville Medical Centre along Ewah Road in Bénin City.

Doctors at the hospital were said to have told police interrogators that Miracle was brought in by one Happy Johnson, a deaconess in Pastor Ekene’s Church.

A protest was sparked among Nigerians on board a flight in Germany following an issue with a fellow citizen (Nigerian) and the airline authorities.

It was gathered that the Nigerian man had no complete documents and was not meant to be on the flight but still boarded it anyway before the authorities approached him on the plane.

The Nigerian man resisted coming down from the plane after being told by the airline officials to. The resistance drew the attention of other Nigerians on the flight as they sparked and raged at the officials for trying to remove their countryman from the plane.

The Nigerian man was later taken off the plane after being handcuffed by the officials.

Jungle justice was meted out on a suspected kidnapper who allegedly abducted two children in Lagos earlier today.

According to online reports, the suspect was caught while attempting to flee after allegedly kidnapping two children at Moshalshi in Orile Iganmu, Lagos.

The youths of the area immediately mobilized themselves and mobbed the suspect with various weapons they could lay their hands on after stripping unclad.

The suspect was later taken to the police station after much beatings from the angry mob.

This is very shameful! Two Nigerian prostitutes left themselves bloodied during a public fight in Napoli area of Italy.

According to reports, the sex workers have been at loggerheads following a disagreement between them over their meeting point of customers in the region and decided to tackle each other on the street.

In a shocking incident which was captured on camera, the Nigerian ladies can be seen punching and slapping themselves.

Despite the flow of blood from their faces and pleas from other Nigerians who reminded them of their illegal hustle (prostitution) in the foreign country, the ladies continued the fight as others looked on.

A corpse was temporarily dumped along the River Niger head bridge in Onitsha, Anambra state, after an incident earlier today.

It was gathered that a vehicle transporting the corpse from Asaba, Delta state capital to Anambra, went up in flames on the head bride in Onitsha.

The corpse was rescued by the car occupants and kept along the bridge as the vehicle was completely burnt.

Road safety officials helped in clearing the obstruction off the highway and controlled the traffic.

It was gathered that another vehicle was brought to continue with the transportation of the corpse and other travelers.

A very strong and gallant Nigerian soldier stole the show at the recent Nigerian army heavy weight champion display in Bauchi state.

The decorated soldier displayed his strength by allowing a military vehicle to climb over his hand after laying on the ground.

After that display which amazed dignitaries and other guests at the event, the muscled soldier allowed seven bags of rice to be placed on him briefly by his colleagues.

The soldier who won multiple awards at the event - was hailed by his colleagues and others over his displays.

A Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, has taken delivery of its third Boeing 777-300 aircraft in preparation for the airline’s commencement of international operations.

The 374 capacity aircraft, christened: “Anuli Peggy Onyema”, touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 3.20p.m on Wednesday.

The aircraft, from Texas, United States of America, was received by the Chairman of Air Peace, Mr Allen Onyema and other top aviation personnel.

Onyema told newsmen that Air Peace had taken delivery of its first and second B777 aircraft in February and August 2018 respectively.
