None of the two. It's about 14 months old. I just switched it off because I noticed it was lagging a bit, but it refused to come on again for over now. Absolutely nothing happened it. It died completely.

Tried to see if it could be flashed but it couldn't be read by the system. Gave it to two technicians, they said there's nothing they can about it.
Maybe in future but from this experience, I don't think I'll buy Umidigi again for now. I was looking at Bison or A9 Pro but not anymore.

Thanks. It's the original(carry come) charger that came with the laptop. I just want to know if the charger could have been responsible for sudden death of the batteries.

My laptop battery I changed recently has gone dead again for the second time. But before that happened, I found out that my laptop started shocking whenever you touch any of the ports or even my phone fingerprint pad shocks when connected to the system. I later discovered that the charger also is shocking whenever it's connected to power source. My question now is, could it be that the charger was responsible for the death of those batteries or the system itself has a problem? Please help a brother.

Since the PC makes sound when the phone is connected, then it's probably briked. Try flashing the stock ROM. You can do it yourself self with a PC. Follow the procedure in the Link.

You need to take it to a qualified Technician nearby for proper checkup.. I'm available if you are within Ogun State.
Try plug the phone and see if its still charging...

It's not showing any sign at all but it makes some sound when I plug it to a PC and I live in Port Harcourt.

While plugged to PC and it gives sound, press and hold power button for about 10 seconds..........

After that press power button again...... Let's see if it resets.........

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, it couldn't come on. By Monday, I'll go look for engineers who'll look at it. My major challenge would be where to get experienced technician here in Port Harcourt.

I don't live in Lagos so I don't know about Ikeja rather I bought from a seller on Jiji but he's in Lagos may be same Ikeja.

The phone is about 11months old.
The touch pad will not work unless I have to off the screen and unlock. Sometimes I have to the it more than twice to get it responding again.

Prepare to change the screen, nothing more nothing less. Mine started after 8 months use before I changed it.
