Does any one knows how much of our hard earned naira this Lager man is going to be paid. HE EVEN FAILED TO QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CUP AFTER PLAYING QUALIFIERS FOR OVER A YEAR AND HE IS EXPECTED TO ASSEMBLE PLAYERS MAYBE TWO WEEKS TO THE WORLD CUP AND PERFORM. IF WE ARE WILLING TO DOLE OUT THE MONEY, PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE TO CHOP IT. |
The others are the meaningless posters as the got a whooping 37 votes ![]() |
The election was rigged. ![]() |
Hmmmmmm A replica of the typical Nigerian society. Full of sentiments that may really not matter but all useful energies are exhausted on them. A unique society indeed! |
deb:This is an absurd statement. Mozambique did not qualify us. They qualified themselves for the nations cup. They were thesame team that put us in the mess with the first draw. Would you have made thesame statement if Tunisia had qualified by saying Kenya qualified them. Go and look at the table before the last set of matches. Kenya had 3 points and mozambique had 4. Both countries needed the 3rd place in the group to qualify for nations cup. In order to be sure of the nations cup, they needed to win there last matches against Nigeria and Tunisia. Kenya was also not out to do Tunisia a favour as you may equally conclude. They wanted to also secure a place in the nations cup. Maybe you were thinking that Tunisia was good because the had not been to Maputo. When we DREW in Maputo, we were bad and Amodu lacked technical know how. When Tunisia LOST in Maputo, they players were good but a bit unlucky and there coach is world class, only that the stubborn Mozambique players were out to do Nigeria a favour! |
@Sagamite You have done a very good job with facts and figures. I just wonder why some people will just refuse to accept. Do they consider the quality of players we have and their commitment before jumping on the coach? Or is it that for them football begins and ends with the coach. Maybe Amodu would have gone in to score the 2 goals in the last match if Obefemi (for any reason) where absent. Amodu would have been sacked if Yakubu had missed the 2nd goal which he scored after hitting the bar even thogh he could have done better in the first attempt. Can you imagine? People just don't want to get it right. |
@Abuzola and Olabowale I'm not convinced that this thread deserves all the energy you are putting in and with a few un intelligent guys at the side line tuning you to go on and on is what I really cannot understand> |
@ olabowale May Allah reward you for your explanation. I guess it is meaningless to davidylan because he could not fault it. |
@mawash The hadith you quoted implies that there should be a duration of time between when sahur is stopped and when adhan is made. But when one is unable to meet up, it is also permissible to eat until al-fijr is seen and the second adhan is to be made when al-fijr is seen. Allah knows best. |
I think what all needs to know is that all aspect of the life of Prophet Muhammad were documented for us to learn from. You need not assume what was not reported. All indications points to the fact that he was a mortal through whom revelations were sent. Thats all. He was a man and muslims do not see him any more than a messenger. If you have any problem with that, you should ponder about 'God' being bullied by roman soldiers. |
@Nezan The fact that fatwa was passed does not mean that the verses existed. IF one should allege that Nezan is a THIEF and goes ahead to defame your character, from your argument, you will only react if you are a thief. You must remain silent so long as the allegation is not true. |
So why were all these speculations not on when we were consolidating? Has any deptor denied owing the banks? Will it be in the best interest of Nigerians that these debt be considered as bad debt. ![]() |
For sometime now, these two jingles are normally given slots on NTA network news to which NTA International also hooks up to. Attimes, they even follow each order. EFCC advert No water, No light No classroom for school children. Poverty E dey, 419 E dey, Bank fraud E dey, Oil bunkering E dey, Yahoo Yahoo E deeeeeeey, EFCC go get you Anytime, Anywhere. Ministry of Information advert Every day for Naija, In the morning even before cock crow, Naija people don wake up o, to begin work o, Builders, them dey, Farmers them dey, Market people unkor, we dey , Some people own na to sing everybody get im own o Naija people no lazy, Dem no tire den no give up Come rain come shine, country people, Wellu wellu ooooo Nigeeeeeria, Good people, Great Nation. ![]() I am therefore forced to ask. Which of these represents the real Nigeria? What should be the perception of the international community about Nigeria and Nigerians? The jingles are not complete. Anyone with the complete version can post it. |
I am simply the best material for Nigeria's president. Serious ![]() |
@ Tudor Awaiting your response for further clarification as I'll soon be out. Quite nice exchanging views with you. |
Tudór:May I kindly interprete your assertion to mean when people make false allegation seriously, no one should be concerned. |
If he was accused of blasphemy, it does not mean he was telling the truth. Blasphemy is defined as language expressing disbelief or disapproved beliefs, or ridiculing religious figures or symbols. If one is guilty of blasphemy, then there are always laws to guide human excesses because we live in a society were some people are irrational, hence there are laws to check. |
Tudór:To curb human excesses, Laws are made. There is no absolute freedom anywhere. It may be emphasized but not actual. Even the court holds people responsible if they give false allegations. People cannot just rise up to say things to mislead people. Imagine a famous press house reporting the death of a president of a country falsely and when they made to face the law, they simply declare that the are exercising their freedom of speech. |
Its with heavy heart I write to express my view on the subject matter. Lets be as objective as possible in our analysis. Most analysis are based on sentiments. Its unfortunate that while most of us are not beneficiaries of the corrupt practices of people we tend to be sentimental about, we come out in their defence and want to make people believe that they are being victimised. These sentiments being expressed is only at the grassroot level and this is what is used in distracting the masses from being focused on the real issues. When engaging in questionable business transactions, these players are not bothered whether their business parners are from Fulani, Igbo or Yoruba and if the even practice any religion at all. All that matters is business and more money to their pockets even to the detriment of those that are always rising to sympathise and support them even when evidencies shows otherwise. This may be a peculiar kind of love those who "deserve" it. Very unfortunate. Its better to focus on issues rather than pulling red herrings. Doing the right thing must start someday. Sanusi should not be seen as a super star. He was only given the opportunity to shine by those who soiled themselves in unwholesome practices. If they did things right, whether he hates them, there will be no cogent reason to throw the CEOs out. Lets be Nigerians when as we address this issues just as they were all Nigerians when the were giving out loans to willing partners from all geo-political zones. |
A blessed month indeed. Utilize the opportunity to seek Allah's forgiveness and mercy. |
It appears marriage is now a boundage as once you get in, even if your partner begins to behave like the devil himself, u have no choice. Very sad indeed. |
Thanks guys. I am really very greatfull for all your useful info. |
Quite beyond my expectation. I will weigh my options |
Still expecting |
Recognise The point I was driving at is the fact that God chose to die before same God will perform an act of forgiveness. Is this reasonable if He has power over all things and can decide to proclaim forgiveness and it stands. Why coose to die? Was that His only option and He could not do otherwise? |
$osisi:@$osisi There is no limit to what can be covered. Limit is placed only on what is to be exposed. |
This Boko Haram people are being given the publicity they want to get. How can we take them serious when they can not tackle forces in Borno yet the are declaring to destabilize the entire nation. In my opinion, someone seeking cheap publicity, sat down and composed that write up and sent it to the press. Where was he when the head quarters of his movement was being razed down. This so called acting leader should think of a way to take care of the widows and children left behind by dead members rather than sending out treat messages. He is yet to curb immorality in his immediate locality not to talk of his town, then state yet he wants to cover Nigeria. The Nigeria he is even referring to was a creation of western colonial masters who in their civilisation decided to create countries and boarders. Why is he excluding Cameroun, Niger Republic and Benin republic from his coverage simply because the west decided to create the demarcation. This acting leader can simply create his own boarder around his house and call it a country and implement all he wants there. The guy carries same western ideology he seeks to eradicate as there are no divine boarders between countries. He should be talking about liberating the world of corruption is he is to be taken seriously. |
Recognise:According to plan? I dont really get it. Whose plan? If God has power over death, how come he has to die to achieve something? Was he trying to commit suicide to impress His creatures or do some kind of magic. For death to overcome any God simply implies that the God has no authority over death or simply enjoys dying. |
Can anyone give me an estimate of the cost of clearing Toyota Camry 1999 at Lagos port? |
