Please I would advise those that do not know the root of these issue to abstain from commenting because justice, fairness and equity is the only solution to true peace that brings security and development.
The truth is that Warri town, ogunu, okumagba estate, ubeji in Warri south LGA, Effurun city and perhaps the whole Uvwie LGA, udu LGA, otokutu in Ughelli south, jeddo and osubi in Okpe and agbarho in Ughelli north have become a conurbation.
Each of these areas have their respective kings and people's, mostly the urhobos, while the itsekiris have a king known as the Olu. Warri town itself has four kings, each with Warri attached to their name. But a set of people lay claim to the name and cunningly anywhere called that name, including the other two Warri local govt where the ijaws I believe are the majority. For peace to reign, there must be no more land grabbing tactics by all sides involved whether by changing of people's community names or otherwise, elections should be free and fair, leaders must resist ethnicism, divisive and insultive rhetoric like calling people slaves and tenants should stop. All the kings must preach peace to their people, both sides must make mutually respectful statements and finally the title Olu of Warri which has created a false sense of entitlement and ownership to some, should be changed to Olu of itsekiri Warri, or Olu of itsekiri as it was before independence, as the name Warri has expanded beyond the original location known as Warri, into neighbouring Urhobo areas while living most of the original areas of the old empire behind literally. This will bring a feeling of brotherhood between everyone and the term Warri will perhaps now be easily accepted by all. I believe with this suggestions the tensions will reduce.

Ps: some have advocated that if the title is not changed the surrounding areas experiencing a population and developmental surge should come to be known as wado city in the future.

Conclusion, everyone loves Warri but when a sect of people use terms like they own Warri, all other people there are tenants, the 3 Warri belong to their king etc. you can't expect people to want to associate with such. Thank you for reading.

These are not really important stuffs at this time. That funds and the ones channeled to religious houses would have been better if put into the SME sector for youth development and cheap loans. But then, this is Nigeria. If a huge chunk of the student loans could be looted, anything is possible.

Everyone that is reasonable and truthful should by now understand that 2027 elections is just a dramatic event. A Shakespeare's stage drama.

The main elections took place a few months ago. Funny enough, many with eyes didn't see it and many with ears couldn't hear it. But then, it was audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.

The only candidate for 2027 is the incumbent. Unless a higher power plays a role which I am yet to foresee, it's Tinubu till 2031.

I saw this in 2025 and it hasn't changed.

Did you see any political party or politician spending money as before? The answer is no.

Nigergrob Ceramics Limited was a notable ceramic manufacturing industry located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Established in the 1980s, the company became the subject of major Nigerian corporate and legal cases, including a landmark receivership case (U.B.A. Trustees Ltd v. Nigergrob Ceramics Ltd) regarding the extent of receiver and director powers. Financial distress and that litigation eventually led to its closure, turning it into a textbook legal authority for Nigerian corporate insolvency frameworks under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).



Story of their death:
In the early 1980s, Nigeria was trying hard to build up its local industries. A company called Nigergrob Ceramics built a big factory in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Their plan was to make floor tiles, wall tiles, and bathroom sinks locally because the construction business was booming. To buy all their heavy machinery and set up the factory, they borrowed a huge amount of money from United Bank for Africa. The bank managed this loan through U.B.A. Trustees Limited. As security for the loan, Nigergrob signed a contract that gave the bank the right to seize the factory and all its equipment if they failed to pay the money back.


Everything started well, but the late 1980s and 1990s brought tough economic times. The national power grid became very unreliable. Ceramic factories need their ovens to run constantly, so Nigergrob had to spend a lot of money on diesel generators. At the same time, the cost of raw materials went up, and they could not find local technicians to fix their complex machines. Production stopped, and the company completely ran out of money. Since Nigergrob could not pay back its debt, U.B.A. Trustees stepped in, locked the factory gates, and hired a legal manager called a receiver to take over everything and sell it off to get the bank's money back.


The original owners and directors of Nigergrob refused to leave quietly. They took the bank to court, arguing that the bank had no right to strip them of their authority. This became a famous legal battle called U.B.A. Trustees Ltd v. Nigergrob Ceramics Ltd. The case went all the way to the Court of Appeal. The judges finally ruled that when a bank takes over a broke company, the bank's manager gets full control of the business and the assets, but the original directors still keep a few basic rights, like the power to fight the takeover in court. Sadly, while the lawyers argued for years, the expensive factory equipment just sat there and rusted. Nigergrob never reopened, and the factory in Abeokuta remains abandoned to this day.
Nigergrob Ceramics died because the bank seized their factory over unpaid debts, while severe power outages and a crashing Naira made manufacturing too expensive to survive.

This is why I hate how receiever/manager issues are handled in Nigeria. I do think a day will come when the banks/Creditors will buy back and sell to a more serious company or entity on a credit restructuring system and not take over to liquidate or kill off.

Creditors have a right, as do workers. There should be a way to get the company back on track while the debts are gradually paid off. Although I have also seen instances where these companies were overvalued by the books, and the realities on the ground by the time the debts are due do not match the actual reasonable realistic perspectives by far.

But then, this can also be cared for by the introduction of Security Trustee Companies to ensure assets are properly valued and managed.

If you are lucky, you might get a good Naija used that will serve you; if you are unlucky, start saving money for a new gearbox and engine. Aside from that and AC problems, the car will serve you. Pay attention to the legs and sensors. Then you are good to go.

But my advice is that if you do not have the money to buy two of that car type, better buy a tokunbo CRV 99/2000. It will serve you while you save Money for Tokunbo 2007. Avoid anything Naija used due to a poor maintenance culture.

Honda and Acura are generally maintenance-sensitive cars.

Just imagine the wonders that Baba Alakara is doing. Even Buhari could not do this. Yet those who supported Buhari are now against this Baba. It is well with them all.

We love sensational stories as a country and as a people. And it is very very shameful.

We hate to ask deeper questions. And that is a major problem with Nigeria and Nigerians.

This country won't get any better until we like to ask deeper and meaningful questions.

I once recall when one ex Rivers State Governor and minister was coming on twitter space. Everyone was being sentimental until I ask a very harmless question. The man could not give a direct answer. I was later removed from the space. And my one year blue tick wen I be buy was suddenly terminated and no refund till date. Any time I remember, I go just laugh and keep quiet.

Well! Make I nor talk too much. Make IMF produce the report and also show us how they arrived at their conclusions. Make we self see and study for ourselves.
