In the end, I concluded that Nigerians cannot understand your brilliant bread and bakery analogy because of weaponised poverty deployed against them over decades by previous Presidents before PBAT who were too cowardly or disiniterested to elevate Nigeria to "developed Nation" status.


This leadership weaponsation of poverty became the norm to unravel a systemic and unending cycle delivering only greater destruction of Nigeria achieved through the modus operandi of "giving Nigerians bread so they would not revolt".

Indeed they did not revolt yet same weaponised poverty prevented them realising that majority of Nigerians were living like wild animals in comparision to Turkish people let alone Brits, Germans, Americans, French folks etal

The cumulative effect, same as a drug addict would view as evil a loving parent who locks him in a room to detox, is what we have today whereby Tinubu is seen as the worst President by a significant number of Nigerians.

Whereas critical, Knowledgeable, exposed and logical thinkers, as you appear to be, will know Tunubu is the best President Nigeria has had, post 1999, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

I mention I am Yoruba to explain the conclusion I am leading to which is that Yorubas are ready, and you can see this from how our leaders are moving, to sacrifice now and back Tinubu's decentralisation of power we hope will lead to regional autonomy for us, to become a nation like Turkey within ten years and a nation like the UK or Germany in 20 years.

I have no problem with those who want Tinubu out but, since it appears only SW and SS leader see the bih picture, I would want him in power long enough to 'free' serious regions of Nigeria to the extent so their destiny is truly in their own hands such that 'one Nigeria' can never impede or affect adversely beyond Tinubu leaving power.

After that regional 'freedom', those who do not understand they are under the spell of weponised poverty, and thus could not see the need to sacrifice, the North being the best example, can continue to receive bread , consequent upon them remaining no better than animals .

Others who saw the bigger picture and endured with Tinubu's effort to decentralise power and processes, for a much brighter and dignified future, can move on to enjoy socio-economic life as it obtains in the best nations of the world because they had the temperament, outlook and "delayed gratification" nous to shun poverty bread and wait for sacrificial deliverance that will eventually usher them into 'optimally developed region' status.

Time settles all things. Soon,they will understand.
But the funny thing is that majority of them will still vote for PBAT come 2027. Just watch and see.

Was having this thought today and decided to share.

What is one thing you wish you learnt earlier in life ?

For me , I wish I avoided women during my hustling days, would have made more progress in my life financially and otherwise.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in life was to date a parasitic girl during my hustling and struggling days.
I was a young graduate of 22 years earning 40k back then which was quite little but I had a girlfriend who was very demanding. She billed me to the point where I couldn’t even save a single penny , I really loved her then and would literally give in to all her demands even when it wasn’t convenient.

Last last she still cheated on me and got pregnant for another guy, the heart break really shattered and it took me two years to recover.

Currently I’m in my late twenties, got a very good job and earn very well and my advice to young men starting life is to be ruthlessly selfish. Be selfish with your time , resources and ambitions.
I wish I learnt that early in life , I would have walked away from that liability of a girl and focus on myself.

Avoid dating broke girls who add little to no value to your life, be more interested in your growth and development.
(If possible avoid relationships during your struggling days)

What’s is something you wish you learnt early?

Especially from those we might call friends. I might ignorantly call you a friend. but am I your friend,a frenemy or an enemy you secretly wish to pull down?

This was one lesson i learnt late when I moved back. That University friend you thought you know then,might not be the same person after a few years of lack of communication. Sometimes, resuming such friendship could be dangerous.

Because you do not know this new version of them.

Make God nor let them count us join wetin we nor know.

It is often said that two people can't be mad at the same time. If I were in her shoe, I would gladly avoid these dramas and take legal action. She just moved from a position of strength to weakness. And now, she is a jail and will still need legal services. Spending unnecessary funds. Same money she would have paid a lawyer to take action and then go home to sleep.
