vehicle can breakdown at any point in time
i was in a danfo around January at around 9pm coming from island. our danfo broke down just at the centre of 3rd mainland bridge
it was scary because you will never see an empty or free bus coming at that place at that time. we needed to start waving and begging private car owners passing and we manage to see those that stopped and decided to help.

there was even a time i went to this beach that is only accessible by water (meaning u have to use boat to cross to it), on one occasion, we were returning back, the boat stopped at the middle of the ocean

Along PH to Owerri, it is a common practice to hand over passengers midway to cut cost. They usually do it at Omerelu or Elele enroute Owerri.
