Getting the gates foundation to sponsor a health programme in Nigeria is too bureaucratic.
When you apply, they expect you to go through those corrupt civil servants in ministry of health and health agencies in Nigeria. This totally frustrates the aim of the program, no matter how laudable your goals and objectives are..
Find a way to support health initiatives without going through government bureaucracies if you really want to help.. |

Politics › Re: Seun, I Am Gradually Withdrawing From Nairaland by Dalohad: 10:22pm On May 08, 2025 |
PressMyButton: I have since noticed that nothing has changed after my complaint a few days ago. Yesterday, I created a thread where Tanko Yakassai refuted Baba Ahmed's claim, I then made a comment saying " the real Nigerians from the North have spoken, Baba Ahmed should swallow his opinions and go to Mauritania and vomit it there. The next thing I got was a ban. Again, a few minutes back, I made a comment on a thread where Sowore slammed Peter Óbi calling him dumb. On the thread, I said " I don't care about the both of them if Sowore and Óbi were locked up in a ring like Portable and Speed Darlington and break each other's jaw. Again, I entered a ban straight up. If I am punished for the right reasons, I do take responsibility but I cannot have it being punished for doing no wrong. Back then, we were being banned most of the time for replying a poster with insults, the Moderators would then informed us of the exact statements that got us the ban, even if sometimes, were ridiculous. However, this new bot is not observing that at all. Even when you made a comment in your own comment box without insults, the bot would come for you. And it seems as if no matter our feedbacks about it, nothing is going to change after all. I have a duty to project a lot of good things the current Administration is doing, although there are teething challenges, still there lots of positives. I appreciate the opportunity this platform have offered but also I do not think I can keep up this way. Users alike would appreciate if you would make a little adjustments around this for a better interaction. This, however, would be my final complaint on this issue while I look forward to seeing an improvement as soon as possible. If you go nobody go notice you. Hanlele... |

The EFCC seems to have a lot of time on their hands for meaningless chase.
50% of EFCC workforce should drafted to the Nigeria Army to go and fight Boko Haram.
We can't be looking for able bodied soldiers, while we have jobless men and women loafing around at the EFCC offices thinking of who is spraying naira dollars or planning to raid hotels at night to find young men they can kidnap and extort. |

This is what PDP should have done since, if they were not filled with dubious mor0nns.
Form a shadow government, appoint shadow ministers to check the activities of the federal ministers and appointees. Keep the government on its toes.
They do it in Europe and South Africa, they do it in Kenya. it is not new and there is nothing wrong with it.
I wonder why it took anyone so long to remember the importance of a shadow government, while these corrupt politicians have a field day running the country aground unchallenged.. |

Doctors Are the New Crude Oil—And We’re Giving It Away For Free
The U.S., U.K., and Saudi Arabia don’t need to bomb us—they’re poaching Nigeria’s best minds with a smile and a signing bonus.
While Nigeria spends billions training doctors… the diaspora harvests them like fruit. All while the President flies to Paris for his next medical check-up.
This isn’t negligence. It’s national betrayal.
Demand These Federal Interventions—Now: 1. Interest-Free Mortgages for doctors willing to work outside Lagos/FCT. 2. Federal Price-Matching Mortgage Payments tied to years of rural service. 3. Doctor-Only Federal Pension Scheme, 20-year lock-in, price-matched. 4. Free Education for children of doctors in under served zones. 5. Zero-Interest Loans for Private Practices, scaled to size and location. Are you a doctor? |

This is becoming a boring cliché. Increase admission for Medicine and stop hoarding medical knowledge to cry foul later.
Cuba did it, they now have more Doctors than mechanics, and even export to other countries.
Train more practitioners. Those who read courses related to medicine, like pharmacy, Nursing, MLS, Physio, Radiography. If they are interested, let them go back to school, do, 2-3 years clinicals and graduate as physicians.
These are practical solutions, apply them.
This complain is getting too frequent and boring already. Learn from Cuba and produce more Doctors if it is a problem. The solutions are staring you in the face but you are more interested in playing politics and gatekeeping medical education, than in actually solving the problem . |

I heard about the contract scam currently going on in the Ebonyi state civil service. All the workers there at the Ebonyi state tax office and ministries are involved.. There is another one going on in NAUTH, Anambra actively using the CMDs Facebook page to swindle job seekers and contractors With account numbers bearing Oyota Emeka Innocent, 0058548576 Unity bank Peter Ogbu 1858105275 Access bank With Phone numbers 07015556179 09118147628 These criminals have been doing this for donkey years. If Atiku had honored the recommendation of nominating wike for the VP position, we won't be where we are today. In fact APC won't have won the election in the first place The result would still be the same or worse. Many in the North dislike Wike and see him as a garrulous drunk. Atiku would have lost their votes. Peter Obi would still have defected and taking his votes with him to LP, leaving PDP with even far lesser votes.. If Peter Obi had been choosen as PDP running mate maybe PDP would have had a chance. The combined votes of PDP and LP tells us all you need to know.. |
