Government came up with the coordinated wholesale centers (CWC) as part of the national drug distribution guidelines (NDDG) whereby drug distribution and wholesales would only take place in a center that has the presence of the various drugs regulatory bodies like NAFDAC, PCN, NDLEA etc, but those guys are resisting the establishment of such centers because they don't want to be regulated!

The last time NAFDAC attempted an inspection visit to the drug market at bridgehead in Onitsha, they were resisted by those merchant s of death. Drugs should never be sold in same market where every other articles are sold. This is because of the delicate nature of drugs and the critical roles they play in public health.

I learnt that there are cabals who want to monopolize Drug distribution and control prices as they want after removing the Drug markets from the equation.
