If the Nigerian police are not lazy and corrupt or both, this crime is one of the easiest to solve.

Even myself without any regimented training can solve this crime and track the criminals.

But the criminals know that, if their victims make a report at the police station, the police will ask for money for Statement paper, stationaries, entry fee, tracking fees, arrest fees, they will sucking the victims dry with fake situation reports until the victims give up on the matter and cut their losses.

I have gone through something like this before, the police IPO kept giving me fake report, about the location of the crime suspect, I gave up at that Police Command, and went to the Zonal headquarters to see the AIG of the zone. It was still the same 'bring money for tracking, we are using soft targets, bring money for arrest' stories until I abandoned the matter.

They kept calling me even after weeks, I told them I am no longer interested in sending any money, until they catch the suspect. I had spent enough already.

The matter died a natural death till today, It's been 9 years now.
