...I remember av seen this formula b4 somewhere in maybe essential physics or new science...The formula for surface tension is force per unit effective length. F/ d..BT if the liquid has two film side base on the shape of the container...d= 2l....so surface tension will then equal F/2l..lemme use water as an example..a needle drop in a water experience total surface tension of F/d..but the water is exerting tension on two edge of the needle..the surface tension exerted at each edge is F/ 2l BT the total surface tension is F/2l + F/2l = F/ l...the formula u used is based on the length given to you..

Guys..one of the practise question which I think the option chosen its wrong...no 4...A force of 20N is applied parallel to the horizontal table is just sufficient to make block 4kg set in motion..find the acceleration when the force is doubled..A.2..B..4..C..5..D..10..

...its gud BT ppl hype it a lot....it expose you to a lot of question BT does not give u the fundamental knowkedge u need...exam Focus is the opposite.. It cram a lot of information into small page BT gives few questions...u will be OK,if u can use both...

The unit of surface tension is Nm-¹

where N is newton , and m is metre

Newton is the unit of a force, F, and F = m × a

where a is the acceleration and m is the mass

F = kg × ms-² = kgms-²

That is, newton equals kgms-²

Nm-¹ = kgms-² × m-¹

= kgs-²

which in dimension gives, MT-².

The unit of tension is the same as the unit of force which Newton = kgms-²

in dimension, that is , MLT-²

...in circular motion angular velocity w = teta/t.. Teta is angule turn by the body in circular motion...angular velocity is the angle turn through per second...unit is radian per second...rads^-1...but for one complete oscillation,the body turn one revolution...teta is then = 2π and t is now the period "T".. So w= 2π/T...1/T =f..w=2πf..shm,we talk of
"w" as angular frequency..is revs^-1( rev per second)..we don't talk abt it has angle turn..we talk abt is has frequency of body oscillating...there is no really any diffence BTW angular velocity and angular freqhency just a change of name..the unit is also rads^-1

...doc,there is formula for surface tension....is force per unit length acting on the surface of the liquid....F/l...MLT^-2/L...MT^-2.... Force can be generally group into pull or push...tension, thrust...e.t.c are forces..Tension has many formula depending on the question but let's use this...T= mv^2/ r + mg..T=ma + mg...MLT^-2 + MLT^-2...T =MLT^-2....

...angular frequency and angular velocity can be use interchangeably...in circular motion it is called angular velocity but in shm,it is angular frequency....they are both w which is equal to 2πf....but strictly for angular momentumn,I should called it angular velocity....thanks for pointing it out..

maybe there is error during the uploading of her result, because i also ave a friend with the problem u stated above, he upload his result successfuly and he was admitted, once jamb open the portal, dont give any cbt centre agent to help u upload, proceed to cbt centre urself, make sure u are there when making the changes and u see it with ur eyes successful.

bro he cant even do the correction on his portal or cbt centre, because he didn't make any mistake he only use awaiting result, and their is nothing lyk correction of o-level result, he just have to wait patiently for jamb to open the portal for uploading, ok bro wat about secondary skul candidate that use awaiting result, jamb will definitely open the portal, am sure about this, he can proceed to cbt centres for more information.

...a guy said his sister used awaiting result lastyr but she had o level result...DAT she was expecting A's but she failed physics...after she saw her result,she went to upload the former one..he,said she pass post utme and was given admission by school BT jamb Cap system did not give her anything... She has to forfeit her admission.....

Since you'd realized that you were not with your O'level, you should have just pause the registration process, go back home and get your result. U did a mistake by using AWAITING RESULT since you have one.

Guys...this issue abt O' level result upload... Av not uploaded my O level result which I did in 2015..when I filled the form I used awaiting result cos DAT day,I was not with my o level result..after jamb,I went for the upload and was told that there wasn't network...since then,I did not go...now, I heared that if u don't upload ur result and you used awaiting,even if one pass post utme,jamb won't give one admission at all...that the Caps system will sieve one...a guy said her sister experience that last yr...am really confuse...don't know wat to do...jamb said 20% that wrote jamb are SS2 student... I think that jamb has consider me as SS2 student....pls i need anybody to comment...don't wan2 waste my scores o...

..thrust is reaction force...formula is...rate of mass flow * velocity....
m/t * v.....angular momentum can be "mvr".. Remember L= Iw...=mr^2 * w.....but w= v/r...so
L=mr^2 * v/r....=mr^2v/ r....= mrv....

...Thrust is the same thing as force..dimension of force is MLT^-2....energy density= energy per unit volume....=ML^2T^-2/L^3...=ML^-1T^-2......angular momentum rep by L...L= Iw.. I= moment of inertia and w= angular frequency...I= mr^2 while w= 2πf...so L= mr^2(2πf)....2π is dimensionless...L= kgm^2/s unit...so dimension of L=ML^2T^-1....hope I try small...

To convert 54km/h to m/s: (54*1000)/(60*60)=15m/s Average Velocity=distance/time Distance=15*10=150m

..correct bro..not doing too know o bt wanna point out a subtle correction...Average velocity = total distance/ total time taken.....not distance/ time...though it looks minor...has a long way to go...

..the other way..the concept is DAT the same time it takes to move to the maximum height = the same time it takes to fall...total time t = t1 + t2...since t1= t2..total time = 2t1...to calculate t1(time to reach maximum height)...v= u+ at...v= u+ gt..At maximum height..v = 0...and since the motion of ball is against the force of gravity "g" is negative.. So 0= u - gt..u = gt..t=u/g...t= 50/ 10..t=5..t1= 5s.....since t( time of flight)= 2t1...t= 2 * 5s = 10s...
