She has a good chance bt my advice to her is that,she shld ignore her jamb scores and prepare for the post jamb as if she scored zero in jamb..Am also an aspirant(MBBS) that has forgotten what he scored in jamb..Focusing 100% on pjamb..

Actually, the questions in the practice questions were gotten from the utme past question. Check 1978(I think that's the beginning of the past question) of maths pq. I wrote the post utme last year and I know I would have performed better if I had read harder.

The thing is, the ancient (old) questions in the pq are tougher hence, making it ui's choice

..sori I misread it..I thought u said from practice ques... As I reaid on last yr thread..they set some of the practice ques..don't think the set jamb pq..notwithstanding one need to practice it..just read vastly...one the most disheartening I read is that, they set 10 ques from comprehension passage which they call an epistle(too long) & "time waster..

..yes...according to last year nairaland thread..u will do well in reading it..it will really inspire you cos u will read there fear,celebration,disappointment e.t.c..A guy even posted some of d ques they did..u will find that in page 202.. 2017/2018 ui admission thread..

..lemme give u some "e.g"..if he went,he would talk..past tense...if he go he will talk..present tense...by this end of dis yr..that's a future tense which shld b followed by will..answer is..will have lived..Also,whenever have is used,the verb that must followed should b in part participle form...lived instead of live...HP I try sha..I scored my lowest in use of English(jamb).

..I think anybody that get 250 & above can still get medicine if the person work hard & score a very high mark in pjamb..if we are to go by last year admission,d cut off for medicine is 71.85..catchment.70.25..jamb divided by 8...pjamb divided by 2...assuming u get 80 in pjamb with ur 256 jamb score,ur aggregate will be 72..u would av gotten medicine last year...some will argue DAT many mbbs folks core 300+ dis yr BT many also scored 300+ lastyr..I even saw 323 in last yr nairaland thread..So,don't lose heart...u can still get medicine...you may even be the person that will score the highest in pjamb..Although,I won't allow you to do that...lol...m sori for did epistle..I just want u & others to bliv......lest I forget,m not a boss bro....

64.5% is a merit cut-off point sir and not a general cut-off for political science.

..der is noting like general cut off in UI..it is alw merit cut off...

dude stop lying u didnt score 337. You are just trying to sell your opinion that UI should discard jamb because you didnt do well like the rest of the mbbs. Why would i get 337 and say they shouldn't add jamb Oga your story isnt adding up. Tell us u didnt get 300 and spare us the gospel on this thread.

Yea..its still OK but d truth is, a lot of Mbbs folks score 300+ but don't lose heart(I scored 337).if u av faith,u will enter...m still of d opinion DAT jamb should not b used cos I bliv is not fair enof..Even if jamb is used,u can still get MBBS if ur pjamb score is very high...

..wow nice score...since we don'tdo d same ques in jamb...I don't want ui to use jamb scores for admission..they should only use pjamb scores..I knw MBBS folks DAT score 300+ will want to crucify me for saying dis BT I just think it is fair if pjamb is used....
