The senate president met with memebers of the Nigerian China business council to discuss investment opportunities between both countries.

speaking about the meeting, He said:

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with a vibrant group of investors from the Nigeria-China Business Council (NCBC) led by Chief Matthew Uwaekwe and Mr. Xie Shao of Skyrun International. Representatives from Xuji Group, HSIN Tay and Nanfeng were also at the meeting.
I reassured the visitors that one of the priorities of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government and the 8th Senate is to ensure an investor-friendly climate in Nigeria that will help with job creation, and economic self-sufficiency of many of our still virtually untapped sectors.
