By the way, the so called scripture you're talking about is the Jewish Torah, their own history book. Just because a folk claim they're chosen by God doesn't mean they're actually chosen by God. I'm from Edo, our oral tradition also claimed we own all the land in the world and our ancestors came from the sky and created all the land. That's no different from the Jewish claim of being chosen by their God.
