I dnt have problem with biased corruption fight as long as the people sentenced to jail actually stole. What I will never be found supporting is jailing innocent people.

With the number of thieves in the country, we can not jail them at the same time so they should file in turn by turn.

When another Govt comes and find people culpable, they shld jail them too.

If the Senate claims the alleged forgery is an internal affair then a man who battered or murdered his wife can equally claim that the IG can not charge him to court claiming internal affair based on the illogical reasoning of these senators.

Again, why are the accused afraid to go and test their defence in the law court if they truly believe they have a water tight defense, at least our jurisprudence would be further enriched.

The executive have initiated a case in the law court against some legislators, the third leg of the governmental tripod which is the judiciary should be allowed to decide the case. That is how a lawful society runs. The accused senators are acting irresponsibly by denying the judiciary their adjudication role. It is trite that the lawmakers make laws, the judiciary interpretes laws and the executive enforces laws.

We keep arguing with ourselves on who is guilty or not. I believe this is not the country's problem. Sincerely speaking, I don't like the way the executive arm of this government is handling things. Before, the excuse was the budget has not been passed. But now the budget has been passed, instead of looking for ways for proper implementing the budget, they are running in circles and chasing shadows. If u notice, this whole forgery issue has taken away attention from things that are more important. We have falling for this trick my this government over and over again, I think it's time we open our eyes. Let's be wise.

The senate has all rights to summoned any minister at any given time, and failure to honour such invitation will attract severe sanction. Part of such sanctions are, issueing of warrant of arrest and others means they felt will compel the person to appear before them. so the AGF rep. was that he does not answerable to Senate, to me he is joking. Nigerians are watching....

Senate does not have power summon or to deliberate over a matter in a Court of Law
