The law was intended to apply to every public official/institution across the country. You are only saying that it does not apply to states because of a contradictory court ruling that happened in Lagos. But you forgot that prior to the delivery of the Lagos judgement, a high court judge in Ibadan, S.A. Akinteye, ruled that FoI Act is applicable to all States of the Federation.

"The Ibadan High Court ruled last year that the application of the FoI Act was for the entire federation, therefore, “does not need to be domesticated by any state before taking effect in all states across the federation.”

It may also interest you to know that the said Ekiti State (besides Lagos), based on the information available to me, is the only State in Nigeria that has domesticated the FoI Act.

I think one can now conclude that there are some online agents being sponsored to rubbish and categorise any story about those who gallantly robbed our country as fables or victimisation. Imagine, any news about those who shamelessly stole are greeted by some online 'Judas' as victimisation and selective justice. Who are such people defending? Surely, it is a case of a slave who had fallen deeply in love with his owner, even like a ram gladly following its killer to the slab. Even in advanced climes, all the thieves cannot be arrested, but those the society are lucky to arrest cannot be defending themselves based on the fact that some fellow thieves are roaming free- that would be the zenith of stupidity. How I wished PDP had selectively arrested the APC thieves when they were in power, at least, Buhari would have completed the task now by arresting the thieves from their own side. Poverty/power failure/unemployment among others have no respect for tribe, age, religion or political affiliation.

Nobody was interested in where they got money for election.

What they were interested is 2.1Billion Dollars arms money was allegedly shared.

The money was traced and all beneficiaries claimed it was given to them for PDP election.

Where Buhari got his money for election from can be investigated and findings published. If not by this Govt but by the next Govt.

Buhari and all his cabinet should be jailed if found wanting.

That has not justified why the current rogues the money was traced to should not be prosecuted.

As for Obasanjo who was a PDP President, RIBADU a PDP EFCC Chairman currently a CARD carrying PDP member. When they went after stolen money, it was traced majorly to PDP members.

Not saying APC members are not thieves but i am not suprised if the major thieves with concrete evidence traced to curently are still PDP Members.

It is like trying to trace money stolen by Fashola and Tinubu's govt and you are expecting the thieves to be PDP. He does not make sense. So if everytin points to APC will they expect us to scream witch hunt too ?

That is simply logical.

My take is that we prosecute the thieves caught now, and deal with others when their cup is full.

Saying LEAVE HIM ALONE does not make any sense to me.
