I was born into a Christian home and have learnt to worship God with dance, praise songs accompanied with load music and shouts by the Pastors as they preach the gospel to members of the congregation. I have lived among Moslems and have come to appreciate their mode of worship of Allah.. I have witnessed severally how the Moslems worship Allah in strict solemnity and with so much focus that nothing distracts there attention.

I am wondering why Christians cannot adopt this mode of worship of ONE TRUE GOD like the Moslems do instead of all the noise inside the church and the routing of prayers through an intermediary.

Like the Moslems do, I personally believe in ONE TRUE GOD and I worship HIM in faithfulness to all I do and in obedience to HIS COMMANDMENT.

hello my fellow brethren. i attend rccg. i have been in church for 10 years now, 5 years i decided to join the workforce and become committed, my wife decided to leave the parish we were attending because she felt spiritual attacks from church members, i stay back because i had no leading to leave. she was not comfortable with my eagerness to serve.
she stayed home for 2 years until i was able to convince her that staying home is not healthy for a Christian. eventually she found another parish and i decided to join her and the children there for services , but she doesn't like my zeal and eagerness to serve and prefers me just warming the bench as they call a non committed member of a parish. she dislikes my trying to make sure i get to church early, participate in whatever the pastor asks me to as a worker.
today the pastor asked me to take the Tuesday bible study class, since then she has been moody and keeps to herself, i wonder if I'm overdoing things, I've tried to encourage her to become committed but it always ends in hot arguments, thus i just do my own and keep praying for her.

what do i now?

God created the first human couple and placed them in a garden with a talking snake and a tree that they were never to eat from. The talking snake convinced them to eat from the tree. For this atrocity, God cursed them and all human babies that would ever be born. Centuries later, God made a pact with a small tribe of shepherds in the desert - the jews. He would be their God if they followed his very strict laws.

God was surprised that the jewish pact didn't cause God to forgive all human beings, so thousands of years later, God prepared a new plan. God would impregnate a virgin, and she would give birth to God. God would grow up to be crucified for calling himself the Son of God. Because of God's sacrifice, God would forgive any person who believed that God died for humanity's sins against God. After death, God would send the believers to a place where they would spend all eternity telling God how awesome he is. God would throw those who didn't believe this story or were not told about it into a lake of fire where they would be burnt alive for all eternity, demonstrating God's justice and love.

In an alternate reality, God said, "I'm angry that you ate from the tree". Adam and Eve said, "sorry sir". God said, "ok I forgive you". The end.

Don't mind them my sister.... God gave us Salvation as a GIFT and when a gift is given to somebody, you are not expected to pay anything for it else, it will no longer be a gift. And from this article, God have assured us that nothing whatsoever will snatch us from his hands..... We are secured in His hands Hallelujah!!!!

Before i discovered the message of Grace, i was a very depressed Christian because of all those fake visions of Hell Fire!! lool . Anytime, i read any of the visions of Hell prophecy, i will be depressed for like one week. 2012 was the worst year for me cos that was the year those fake prophesies were at the peak, soo many people died and woke, and they all came back with warnings about Hell!!! lool. It wasn't funny then, cos at a time, i started asking God why he created me when He knew He will still send me to Hell even after my so-called Self Righteousness..... Dat Sister Linda's Testimony divided the Body of Christ. But thank God for Jesus, many people have now realised the Truth. And the Gospel of Grace which is the TRUE GOSPEL of Christ have started spreading all over the world.

I first heard the True Gospel of Grace last year and i was shocked!!!! lool . I couldn't believe that God would love me like that. Then i started reading books on GRACE & SALVATION by different men of God and i became LIBERATED!!! Cos i now know the true meaning of the death of Jesus Christ and His finished Works!!!! I now have inner peace and i am more alive now...... I really thank God for knowledge and am glad you know the Truth also....

According to the bible(specifically revelation), those that were killed unjustly cry out to "god" for vengeance, does that mean his won't take place and those lives would get no retribution?

Ultimately this would mean "god" wasn't just as it turned a blind eye to those killed then also decided to render mercy to the killer instead on the account of acknowledging his existence only....

Imagine a human court run in this manner, where your crimes are instantly forgiven if you "honour" the judge,would you find such a system just?

To! i was just rushing over to talk, but it has all been said. @op, what version of visual basic are you using sef?
Just so that I can have something to say - @OP, you can also (look left and right) integrate a web browser control into your project - that way, you get to have the full power of googlemaps API - which can do all that stuff in a breeze! The only problem is how to integrate the data back into your APP, back in vb 6, i was able to communicate between my embeded web-browser page and my vb code, but in all these latest versions - i have not tried it.
Of course, I want advise you to try this except you are really desperate (or maybe foooolish).

It is totally doable. Correct me if I am wrong but i think what you are trying to achieve is some sort of Geographic Information System (GIS). What you need is some kind of library that can understand and interpret spatial information.

Personally, when working on GIS projects I like to use JAVA. Basically because the popular java GIS frameworks hat i know are much more older and have more resources available online compared to the .NET platform. If you want to consider Java try GeoTools http://www.geotools.org/.

However, if you insist on using a .Net programming language you can use Dotspatial. I have used it before in a project it integrates well, it is open source but it doesn't just pack a punch compared to its java Counterparts. see http://dotspatial.codeplex.com/. I also suggest you download MapWindow http://www.mapwindow.org/, it is an open source GIS. Study how the code works will help you understand the DotSpatial library more.

AMORC has taught me a lot about self confidence. Members like me that still go to church, mehn! I can't believe just any thing. Because I know that the answer lies within. As an RC, I am tolerant and always ready to accomodate different views and beliefs. That's one great association that you find christians, moslems, pagans, atheists etc.
