FamilyRe: Monitoring My Younger Sisters Movement? by danbasco(m): 1:53pm On Jul 08, 2009
yea tis is not unusual feelin for a guy. i dey feel u. are you worried that your sister will be done as you do with them girls?? but in the first instance you should know the kind of person your lil sister is, what you can swear that she would or would not do. be honest with yourself. can you vouch for her??

just sit her down and tell her the truth about f@#king and getting f@#ked and then pray and leaves her to her ways. thats about it.

PoliticsRe: Cross River State Lawmakers Embark On Hunger Strike by danbasco(m): 1:01pm On Jul 08, 2009
[b]These whole posts here is so ridiculous. it so unfortunate , i mean i've not seen a situation where, all comments and replies to a single post all take side to very negative thoughts. i do not understand exactly what the lawmakers from cross river meant by "hunger strike" but as far as i am concerned, that should not be the contending issue here but the gross marginalization of cross river state by the federal government. Cross riverians are a minority people seeking their liberation. they are a few people seeking to be heard.

for emphasis, i want to state that i despise our political leaders more than any other person on this forum. they have not treated nigerians well at all. but again, this is not the issue here. this whole thing is about CROSS RIVER STATE. The federal government has been most unfair to cross river state. Obansanjo's government has been the worst offender. the handover of bakassi to cameroun shouldnt have been in the first place. they just rushed too quickly to ICJ without the opinion of the people and essentially the national assembly. that was most unlawful. after that they rushed to sign the hand over in US whereas we had up to 10years to appeal. this is the genesis of the whole problem. The nigeria nation is much more powerful and sovereign to have upheld its position on bakassi but it decided to be non chalant - BECAUSE IT HAS TO DO WITH CROSS RIVER and or perhaps many other political and of course selfish reasons.

juxtaposing cross river and akwa ibom states, CRS receives a little more than N2billion from oil derivation placing her at 30th position out of the 36 states, while AKS receives about N16billion placing her at 3rd position in the country. should the oil wells be completely ceded to AKS, they get N18bn, and the question is, what do they want with N18bn that they cannot do with N16bnhuh?what more does AKS want?? I want to state clearly that CRS is neither at war with her sister state AKS nor with the federal government but only a people seeking justice for what is rightly hers.

The akwaibomites continue to bully cross river and contend with crossriverians at all levels of life, government, socially and otherwise. time and space will not allow me to write more, but i will quote the AKS Gov. "a good number of his house of assembly and executive council members live in calabar and go to work in uyo" 2 out of 5 people on the streets of calabar are akwaibomites, 2 out of 5 are northern crossriver and one an actual calabar man. many electoral and appointive offices in CRS are held by people of AKS origin. at not point in time has CRS completely filled its quota in federal establishments but are all claimed by AKS indigenes.

the agitating lawmakers should not have come up with that hunger strike issue. they had rather rephrase, state clearly and press on their agitations for the common good of cross river state. The point to make however is that, impoverishing one state is potentially dangerous to the other that is rich. clearly it doesnt pay the both people of CRS and AKS (in calabar) to impoverish CRS. this is because the AKS people occupy a great deal of the land and people hardly know the difference.

CareerRe: Are Nurses Promiscuous/Flirty? Is It A Myth? by danbasco(m): 11:15pm On May 04, 2009
luckiest:
well I think I have to disagree a little because if I have to use my very few experiences visit hospitals then I will be right to sya that they are; maybe its because they see the private parts of guys who visits hospitals for treatment o; the last hospital I visit had girls they most men will like to take to bed, maybe it was a delibrate attempts by the management; they were talking about sex not minding the visitors or patient around the reception; I must confess I collected the number of 3 of them and they were willing to come to my house, in fact one of them did but nothing happened becos she was on, so she promised to come another day but I decided not to call anyone of them again because it was too easy and I fear other visitors could have been doing the same to them, even some of my friends who visit the hospital with me had their way with other girls. no disrespect to the profession I know we can find some of them that are not like that but ,
who be tis man?? looks like u have been attending a real quack hospital. i happen to be in the medical profession - a medical student. trained and qualified nurses are very respected and in no way what you suppose. i am much familiar with what u have stated here. it happens in some private hospitals where the doc hires unprofessional/apprentice nurses to tend patients. all they do is sit around there and gossip. you can hardly find such in a federal or state medical facility.
CrimeI Think Death Sentence Should Be Abolished The World Over. by danbasco(op): 2:28pm On Jan 04, 2009
Let us consider this: this very hardened criminal is apprehended, the serial killer has killed many persons(loved ones) ruthlessly, has robbed, raped and committed the most horrible crimes that can ever be imagined. What next?

The victims and families of the victims are in pains and agony over loss of dear life and valuable properties.

Eventually every one hates this criminal. The criminal is charged, convicted and sentenced. It is a death sentence. Yes this person does not deserve to dwell among the living.

It will please the victims to know that their adversary has paid with his life. But does it make any difference to them victims? Have they really gotten revenge? Has all that they've lost been revenged? NO! i think. Victims wont get back all the've lost. Those the murderer slaughtered will not come back to life when this villain is killed. The criminal eventually does not feel any pain in the grave, &doesnt know if he/she ever existed. A dead person doesnt feel pain, joy, remorse, , feels absolutely nothing.

I think the ultimate punishment plan for this criminal is such that will keep him incarcerated in the most inhumane & painful conditions for the rest of his life. The criminal should not be killed. In fact he/she should complete a life time in the most horrible conditions that can be developed for this purpose. Eg., should never see day light, locked up in a 100ft dungeon filled with his faeces & dead rats. Then will they enjoy the passion of their crime.

Nairalanders, what do you think?
CareerRe: Best Jobs In Town Hangmen Wanted! Only 4 In The Whole Country • Nigerians Apply by danbasco(m): 12:22pm On Jan 04, 2009
I dont believe in 'death sentence' talkless of being the executioner. Wats the point killing the criminal when a dead person feels no pain & with no opportunity to show remorse. The criminal condemned by the law can be given life incarceration with some outrageous punishment that will make him feel the pain &regret for the rest of his life.

Nairalanders, what do you think?

CareerDilemna: Marketing Or Operations In Banking? by danbasco(op): 3:42pm On Jan 01, 2009
I have searched tis site for a concise facts on tis subject. If tis thread exist alredy, i'd like someone to put the link here 4me(thanks) otherwise let the deliberations begin.
It is obvious that both marketing & operations departments are important as well as indespensable to the institution.

As an experienced banker, which department is better off. Marketing or Operations? Which will you recommend for an intending graduate trainee hoping to settle for a career in bankng? And whyhuh please state STRONG REASONS.

In the middle of extended working hours by those in operations, and outrageous targets for marketers, which of these depts wil give a banker some good level of job satisfaction, great potentials for promotion & career development?

Does anyone in operations regret or wish he/she were in marketing & vice versa? Why??

Are there any financial/other benefits that accrue to persons in one dept but not the other?

After two interviews, I am on the waiting list of a bank that intends to open a new branch in my town jan/feb.Just in case i have the opportunity to choose between marketng or operatings, i need to be properly guided. Thank you nairalanders.

CareerRe: Are Female Bankers Truly Executive Prostitute? by danbasco(m): 9:34am On May 31, 2008
there is every element of truth. those in marketng are most vulnerable. a rich cousin of mine helps them to meet targets by connecting them with big boys with huge funds plus his own foreign investment accounts and i tell you, he gets his fill from them, for real. you know exactly what am talking about.

his most recent escapade was with two youth corpers marketing for their banks in lagos. they both knew each other but still took their turns with him. all they wanted to do was meet their target and have a chance of being retained. they both thought and said he was a very nice and generous guy. they both met their targets but eventually, only one of them was retained.

so what are we talking about here, !!!!
