@Black Prez I have always thot so too. Eu(not)nice seems to be cooked, waitn to be served. Did u notice the reference that BS made in the last episode abt her missing home?how come she is the only one that has been asked such a question? i see one of two scenarios playing out possibly a third. I dont know wat happens now there are 3 peeps left. If one more person has to go before the final face off its either a. Isaac gets kicked out to pave way for 2 "strong" girls to fight for the 200k b. Blessing gets fired leaving Eunice to devour Isaac & claim the prize c. A shocker! Eunice gets sacked & has to be dragged into the yellow cab screaming & scratching. . . her last words - Blessing & Isaac I'm gonna get you! (tho dats not likely bt its remotely possible) |
Your brother must be in dreamland if he thinks he can get that kind of a job! 1.the medical profession is not that lucrative anymore & its either Hard work plus little pay equals dissatisfaction little pay plus little work equals some satisfaction Frankly, it would be difficult to give you the breakdown for these orgs cus it depends on what ur bro wants to do see https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-53713.32.html#msg2313821 but i will try to help For residency program in federal hospitals he will be started on abt 130-150k/month Private hospitals depends on negotiation NGOs same, but if he gets into an international body he may hammer! (he will need a masters in public health) My advice. . . let him decide what he wants to do post NYSC & start doing his research now!!! |
Lets be realistic here - if we assume your friend is about 28 years old, he then enters for medicine which will last for 5 plus x years and then anoda year for internship that makes 6. He would have done NYSC from his first degree so I skipped that. That makes him about 34/35 upon graduation. Then now what exactly does he want to do with his medical degree? To be factual the profession is not as lucrative as it was. There are only a few paths for him which include but are not limited to *work in a private hospital *specialisation in a teaching hospital (the spaces are few and very hard to get into) *going for a masters degree (which adds years to his studying) *working for an NGO *or totally veer off medicine and going into IT, banking etc. Its not easy and he will also be thinking about settling down with the lady of his dreams etc. I know someone who did exactly what he intends to do, married after we finished med school & started his residency here in Nigeria. Your friend can go into medicine IF he knows exactly what he wants to do with it & is not just going in blind but other wise I tell him to take the JOB and start a career in that field. Thats what I would do! |
@UpNaija, i agree with you but to an extent. The next tasks are key bt who goes depends no the dynamics in the respective teams. Each one of the 4 now knows who their opponents are & tho I admit that Blessing & Eunice are more experienced in the BR if they both mess up during the performance of the tasks and the guys are able to step up to the plate either could get dismissed! It all depends on how things work out. BS will not be favourably disposed to sacking but if its quite obvious he wont have a choice. |

Hi Everyone Am a young doctor and am interested in pursuing a career in health management with organisations such as HMOs or NGOs. Does anyone have any links or contacts with these organisations? Any help will be highly appreciated. Advice is also welcome |
I was just wondering that in the past couple of weeks or more 2 missing items have been in the news Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello was declared wanted/missing by the EFCC A Beechcraft plane and its crew was also declared missing on its way to Obudu ranch Some reports have said that the plane was flown out of the country to evade investigation by the EFCC (funny how the EFCC is linked to both missing items) IOB has been said to be going about her senatorial duties in the National Asembly, some have said she was camped ot at David Mark's place. . . So which is harder to FIND? |

Hi every one I dont know if this is the correct place to post this but i need help ASAP My digital camera, an Olympus 5.0 MP got damaged. The actual damage is that the flash is no longer working. I thot it was just that the battery had rundown but on closer inspection I saw that the flash had shattered. It didnt drop. Anyone knows where I can get it fixed if possible? Thanks! |

Went to Uni with a guy from Kidivision 101, what was his name on the show again?! . . . think it started with a D or something Then there was SPEAK OUT on tuesdays I think Those were the good ol' days indeed, iice! No more good programs on local TV anymore. . . what a pity! |

Just watched the 1st episode and I am impressed. . . i must say that again! So there are 2 companies - MATRIX CORP & ZULU CORP For the 1st task, Matrix was all female while Zulu was all male. Matrix was to sell footballs while Zulu was to sell skipping ropes. At first I thought it was rather unfair for the guys but at the end of the day they WON! They made N34,395while the girls made N29,000 So the guys won a fun trip & did they have FUN! The girls were asked to give reasons why they failed. . . but couldnt come up with anything tangible. "The Boss" asked if they had a strategy & determined that they didnt. I like B.S in the role & he was strong and affirmative. Nancy, Blessing & Hannah were up for eviction Nancy wanted Blessing to go Blessing wanted Nancy (the ineffective leader) to go Hannah didnt sell any balls at all After all the debating and arguing, B.S told each of them where their deficiencies were & at the end of the day due to the objective of making profit which Hannah failed to do she was FIRED Overall, the first episode was good. I liked the intro. You gotta feel for the first evictee off these shows. . . they never had the opportunity to express themselves. |
So. . . The Apprentice has kicked off! its quite interesting & I am quite impressed by Biodun Shobanjo. The girls & boys have been drawn from all over Africa and beyond The first task is on. . . will be back after the show! |
