So i met with @OladeleNihi the man trekking from Abuja to
Otuoke Bayelsa state to celebrate the hero of Nigeria
Democracy President Goodluck. As part of my little
contribution, I handed over a pair of canvas to @Gloria_

The 58-year-old, Africa's richest man, failed in a bid to buy
the Gunners in 2010 and says that he will concentrate on his
own business before submitting a new offer.
African billionaire Aliko Dangote admits that he remains
keen on buying Arsenal. The 58-year-old Nigerian, who is worth an estimated £10.3 billion - which makes him Africa's richest man - explored the possibility of purchasing the club in 2010 but his approach was rejected.
"I still hope, one day at the right price, that I'll buy the
team," Dangote told Bloomberg Business. "I might buy it,
not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won't
want to resist. I know my strategy." Dangote, who has made his fortune through various operations including cement manufacturing, sugar supply and oil investments, says that he will concentrate on expanding his own business before launching a new offer for Arsenal.
“We have $16bn-worth [£10.5bn] of investments in the next
few years. Right now I want to take my own business to a
certain level. Once I finish on that trajectory, then maybe [an offer will follow]," he continued.
Dangote is an Arsenal fan but has criticised Arsene Wenger,
claiming that the 65-year-old "needs to change his style a
bit" and warning that the club "need new direction".

Dear Korede Bello, please do not remix Godwin
Korede Bello must be on cloud nine. His song Godwin is currently
Nigeria’s most popular song. So popular is it that some have even gone as
far as saying it is now the de facto anthem of Nigerians all over the world.
With this one song, he has achieved what every musician actively aims
for. It is also important to note that this song is actually Korede’s second or third single as a professional musician. With this, he has joined the
likes of Davido, Kiss Daniel and Patoranking as musicians who through
one single attained ‘superstar status’ or in his own unique case, ‘mega
superstar status’.
I did not fully appreciate how popular the song was until almost all
politicians who emerged victorious during the just concluded elections
adopted it as their ‘unofficial victory anthem’. Akinwunmi Ambode,
governor elect of Lagos state is said to be especially fond of the song. In
fact, it was the song of choice when he and APC party stalwarts gathered
at the party headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos to celebrate his victory at the
polls.
With all the plaudits the song has gotten, I would like to sound a note of
warning to Korede and Mavin Records. Leave the song as it is. Please do
not remix it. Do not get me wrong, I’m not saying remixing the song will
be a bad thing, I just feel it would be unnecessary to make a Godwin
remix. Some might argue that a remix might actually make the song last
longer in the minds of music lovers. An example to support this case
would be Patoranking’s Girlie O ft. Tiwa Savage. The remix was so good
that most people forgot about the original. But let us also not forget that
major hit songs like Oritsefemi’s Double Wahala Iyanya’s Kukere,
Davido’s Damiduro, Olamide’s First Of All, and Kiss Daniel’s Woju had
remixes that were considered outright failures in every sense. Even though
they all featured ‘A list’ musicians like Akon, Dbanj, Tiwa Savage and
Davido.
Though Korede might not realise it, he has made a song that would be
around for a long, long time. You know your song is a hit when you are
invited to perform it in churches. Though some pastors might consider it a
‘secular’ song.
Also in all this, one must not forget Don Jazzy’s input in all this. He
remains like the proverbial wine that gets better with time. 3 of his new
school artistes (Korede, Reekado Banks and Di’Ja) all have songs topping
the charts currently. Other acts signed to his Mavin records like Tiwa
Savage, Dr Sid and D Prince are also doing well. Kudos to him.
One can only hope Korede develops on the success of Godwin and keep
giving us good music. We wouldn’t want him to turn into a ‘one hit wonder’.

Zulu King Godwill Zwelithi's utterances on March 23rd
launched the Zenophobic attacks in South Africa and he had
refused to apologize, even after finding out that his people
have maimed, killed and destroyed businesses belonging to
black foreigners. He's still insisting that foreigners should go
back to their countries but tried to save face by saying
attacking the foreigners is not how to chase them away. He
wants the government to do it legally.
During a speech in last month, Zwelithini called for the
deportation of foreign nationals living in the country, saying
it was unacceptable locals were being made to compete with
people from other countries for the few economic
opportunities available. King Zwelithi said "foreigners must
pack their bags and go home".
His three major complaints and why he wanted foreigners to go were;
1. SA traders in the townships said they could not compete with the prices that foreign-owned businesses were selling their products.
2; foreigners involved in crime.
3. Lack of respect shown by foreigners to locals.
Addressing Pongolo community members during a moral
regeneration even, Zwelithini accused government of failing
to protect locals from the “influx of foreign nationals”.He
said;
“Most government leaders do not want to speak out on
this matter because they are scared of losing votes. As
the king of the Zulu nation, I cannot tolerate a situation
where we are being led by leaders with no views
whatsoever. “We are requesting those who come from outside to please go back to their countries. The fact that there were countries that played a role in the country’s struggle for liberation should not be used as an excuse to create a situation where foreigners are allowed to inconvenience locals. I know you were in their countries during the struggle for liberation. But the fact of the matter is you did not set up businesses in their countries,” he said.
His comments were widely condemned with the SA DA
describing it “highly irresponsible' 'Particularly given the
recent spate of xenophobic attacks in South Africa, he
should do the right thing – retract and apologise,”
He didn't and his spokesman went on record to say the King
had nothing to apologize for, that he meant every word he
said.“I think the people who’re complaining are
misinterpreting his speech. He didn’t say foreigners must
be attacked or harassed. The king was talking about
foreigners who are here illegally. Some are involved in
serious crimes like drug and human trafficking. We don’t
need such people in our country so the king is right.” His
spokesman said
After the killing spread across different cities, the king has
relented a little and is planning to speak to his people this
Monday in an effort to quell the attacks. He's expected to
address the public directly and clarify his statement and ask
his people to stop the violence which his words started.

The Blues require four more victories to secure their second

Jose Mourinho will again put his friendship with Louis van
Gaal to one side on Saturday when Chelsea attempt to take

Van Gaal takes his in-form Manchester United side to

Van Gaal's side also head into the game in ominous form,

games. They can go second with a win against the leaders.

10 The jealous girlfriend who stabbed a man to death who only was texting his boss
In March 2015, a Bronx man texting his boss to let him know
he’d be late for work was stabbed to death by his jealous
girlfriend – who thought he was texting another woman.
Norberto Cruz-Valentin, 21, was repeatedly stabbed in the
torso in the midst of a fight with his girlfriend Kristal
Delvalle, 23, inside their apartment.
The fight began after he texted his manager to tell him he
would be late. Delvalle became enraged because she
thought he was texting another woman. Cruz-Valentin was
pronounced dead at the hospital.
The woman, who has no prior arrests, was arrested at the
scene and is expected to be arraigned on charges of
manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

9. The jealous man who smashed his girlfriend’s laptop after
seeing a photo on her Facebook page and suspecting an
affair… only it was a picture of Mitt Romney
A violent, overbearing boyfriend punched his girlfriend and
smashed her computer after becoming jealous of a picture
of Mitt Romney posted on her Facebook page.
Lowell Turpin, 40, of Anderson County, Tennessee, had
accused live-in girlfriend Crystal Gray, 38, of having an affair
after seeing a mysterious man on her Facebook page.
When Gray told Turpin that it was in fact the Republican
presidential candidate, the 310lb man refused to listen and
his verbal abuse turned physical.
He was eventually charged with domestic assault and locked
up.

8. The jealous man who assaulted ex-girlfriend with a Cornetto
In November 2014, an ex-boyfriend who got jealous when
his former partner told him she was seeing someone else
assaulted her with a Cornetto. Ben Moses, 20, “thrust” the
Wall’s ice cream cone into Katie Crowle’s face after she said
she was seeing another man.
The relationship “melted down” after Crowle admitted she
was involved with someone else. The pair were trying to
reconcile after a three-week split when she revealed details
of the new relationship.
Furious Moses reacted by grabbing a Cornetto that one of
their two kids had been eating and tried to stuff it into her
mouth. She called police during their fight, but the last thing
a police operator heard was the sound of her screaming.
The mum was left with a face full of ice cream, a swollen lip
and a bruised chin.
Moses had no previous convictions, but was cautioned for
assaulting his partner of four years. His lawyer tried to
excuse him by saying she had taunted his client with
intimate details about her sex life with the unnamed other
man. In spite of the bust up, the feuding couple are now back together. Isn’t love sweet?

7. The President who gave the perfect reaction to woman’s
jealous boyfriend
A voter standing beside President Barack Obama as he was
casting his early ballot for the 2014 midterm elections in
Chicago warned the Commander-in-Chief: “Don’t touch
mygirlfriend.” Mike Jones was waiting in line with his girlfriend Aia Cooper when President Obama arrived at the polling station in Chicago. News crews covering the event caught the jealous boyfriend telling the Commander-in-Chief, “Mr. President, don’t touch my girlfriend.” To which the flabbergasted Obama replied, “I really wasn’t planning on it.”
The girlfriend in question, Aia Cooper, was beyond
embarrassed, as Obama played out the conversation that
was likely to ensue as she tells her friends about her run-in
with the President, saying, “I can’t believe Mike, he’s such a
fool.” As he leaves, the President embraces Cooper, saying,

suitors
A woman in Zimbabwe went to court to complain that her
ex-lover was in the habit of sleeping on her doorstep every
night to prevent her boyfriends from visiting. Muchechetere
also claimed Costa Gwebe verbally and physically abuses
her whenever he comes to herhouse.
She told the court that she ran away from home because
Gwebe would physically abuse her over the smallest things.
Gwebe denied the allegations saying he caught
Muchechetere four times with a boyfriend in their bedroom.
He also claimed that his ex-wife would go out for parties
with her boyfriends leaving their minor child unattended.

5. The jealous wife who chopped off her cheating husband’s
penis, twice
After discovering that 32-year-old Fan Lung was having an
affair in Henan province, his wife Feng Lung cut off his penis
while he was sleeping in their bedroom. Fan’s penis was
reattached by surgeons, but his wife went to the hospital
room where he was staying and chopped off his healing
Instruments again.
It all started when Fan forgot to log out off his wife’s mobile
phone after sending a naughty email to his 21-year-old
lover. Feng went mad when she saw the email. After cutting
it off for the second time, Feng threw his penis out of the
hospital window. It was never found, and is believed to have
been taken by stray dogs or cats.

he would rescue
A man found himself in a sticky situation when his current
girlfriend and his ex both threw themselves into a river, to
see which one he loved the most. Confused Wu Hsia, 21, had broken up with long-term girlfriend Jun Tang, 20, after meeting new love 22-year-old Rong Tsao. However, over the following three months, jilted Jun kept hassling him to get back with her. Wu decided to arrange a meeting between the three of them. When they gathered together in Ningbo, in eastern China’s Zhejiang province, the situation went from bad to worse. The girls began arguing. The man’s ex-girlfriend felt insulted by a comment made by his current girlfriend, so she jumped into the river and called for her former lover to save her. His current squeeze, fearing that he might indeed jump in to save his ex-lover, then jumped in as well. Both of them began calling for him to rescue them from drowning. Wu settled the matter by jumping in the water to save his current girlfriend, and then taking her to hospital. He called his brother to rescue his ex, who in turn called the fire brigade.
