The Governing Council of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), has approved the appointments of 10 new professors in the school.

The newly-appointed professors were members of the academic staff of the university, who were promoted.

While six of them were promoted to the rank of professor, the four others moved up to the rank of associate professor.

Those newly promoted to the rank of Professor include –Dr Wasiu Olugbenga Gabadeen (Educational Management); Dr. Ogbe Adamu Okuwa

The suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has challenged anyone who has ever offered him a bribe to come out.

Information reaching Newsrand has it that no fewer than 10 persons have been feared dead, as a tanker laden with petrol exploded.

The incident which also left scores injured, happened in the early hours of Wednesday, September 23, 2020, in the Felele area of Lokoja, Kogi State.
