There are cities all over the world, especially in Asia, including Japan, China, India, that lacked sidewalks and covered drains even as late as the 1990s. But go there today and it's a different story. They worked around the issue, and there were no mass demolitions of property.

Even LAGOS has renovated roads in residential areas and done the same.

So quit making excuses.

making excuses as how? what would it take just to cover the gutters? maybe covering them up is ur idea of covered drains?

In many Marriages these days, proper vetting are not done.

You as a person who wants to marry the woman might no see a lot of flaws because of being blinded by love and she might be pretendingto be good, etc.

Go out there and vett her. start with the locations where she has stayed and to where she is staying now. The people who knew her before you did will tell you who she really is, the type of home she came from, and her parental upbringing too.

Head to the village and investigate her family roots and ties too and make an informed judgement.

All these matters a lot and many people over look them, reason many marriages are crashing left and right.

what many people attest to and are witnesses to always turns to be true.

when I went to investigate my wife from where she was living prior to marriage, it was drama grin

The bros I met was like, "na lie, that girl no fit gree for you". When I explained all the details, he was like bros, if that girl gree for you, then what are you still waiting for? better rush o, before she change her mind because they have never seen her with any man, how she is a respectful girl and hardworking etc etc.

The bros had to call some neighbors who were all surprised at the development and who all gave me the green light.

Same in their village. Everyone I met attested to the goodness of the family.

Till date I never had a single regret marrying her.

Building a closed gutter requires a central underground system of where the gutters would be channeled to.

you can only achieve that 100% before properties are erected. it is difficult where properties have already been erected and demolitions must occur if you want to achieve that.
