In as much as i would like to support you on this but on the other hand, the way and manner nairamarley and sam Larry treated that young man when he was alive is so appalling and despicable. The contributed directly or indirectly to his death, if i may say. That young man was surrounded by sharks and tigers when alive, and it only takes the grace of God to survive such.

The fact that he was sure of getting a victory against us but unsure of what the winning margin would be highlight how low we have gone in recent years, our local league is not at par with other African countries league, we can't retain some of our best local players anymore and the management crew are not quality enough ( Eric Chelle is not the best we should have settled for). If this trend is not mitigated, we will experience worst defeat against other lowly rated countries.

Thats what am talking about. Why foreign coaches when we have Nigerians who are competent enough to coach the teams? It all boils down to greed, control and more greed.
The foreign coach is dictated upon which players to choose and parts of tje foreign currencies ends up in the pockets of the big bosses in the NFA.

The men football team has been bastardized and monetized that players are no longer chosen on merit. The same problem we have in our politcal and civil service fields that has been drawing us back as a nation. Take it or leave it, the coach just gave a valuable advice.

In war, there is always casualties both civilians and combatants.

Those herdsmen can't just come and start killing people without grievances. According to the LG chairman, he said it's a reprisal attack for the loss of their cows presumed to be rustle by locals or indigenes of the affected communities.
My condolences to your colleague and those who lost loved ones but some questions needs answering.

Yes, there was the issue of cattles being caught vandalizing farms and crops, which he shared with me last month. The locals slaughterd the cows and some were eaten.

Thier farms were vandalized by the cows, but that did not give them the rights ro kill the cows. They should have handed those cows over to the authorities and demanded for compensation from the herders.

Attacking and killing innocent people on the other hand, because your cattle was rustled is not the way to go either. Those involved should be identified and made to pay compensation also to the herders.

The absence of communication and dialogue has formed an unending vicious circle.

This is where the government at every level should step in with the stick and carrot approach in putting an end to this vicious circle.

Law and order is what is lacking in those communities.

I saw the gruesome pictures. Two of the murdered relatives to my colleague from Agatu. A promising young man who is married with four kids. He went to farm with his father and both were killed, with the young man's intestines spilling out.

It is very sad that the government both at the local, state and Federal level has chosen to do little or nothing to checkmate these herdsmen menace across the country. Very sad!

You are the naive one here. Look it up.

They are physicians and can carry out operations and surgeries relating to thier field. They can treat and recommend medications after diagnosis. The four years you are talking about is after they have gotten other certifications. They are medical doctors. Unless you have another meaning for doctors.

It is so shameful that this man has decended so low. The laws of the nation are not Christian in any way. They are common laws that govern every society.

Christianity has its laws too i don't see it anywhere in the Nigeriqn law and constitution. The customary laws make up for these as it deals more on the customs and traditions of regions and states.
