Not until the cost of governance in all spheres are reduced and equated with the civil service wages, in Nigeria, the Naton will only but remain stagnant and devoid of good leadership.
The truth is that more than 90% of those in elected and appointed offices are just there to enrich their pockets and are bereft of any ideas to move the nation forward.
Equate their salaries to that of the civil service and you will see the do or die policts in the country die a natural death as only those who really want to make an impact would be motivated to vie for elective offices. Until then, I see no hope for Nigerian bright future! |

Botragelad: Who are these people up there going on about sane and insane country, as if some of these heinous crimes aren't committed by individuals from third-world countries who enter places like Germany and immediately flout the law, engaging in terrorist acts, and whatnot?
And did someone actually claim that such incidents never occur in Africa? Laughable! Nigeria, for instance, is a prime example of a situation far more dire than merely getting stabbed. I've read cases of people being kidnapped almost daily In some part of Nigeria.
P. S : This is quite unrelated, but I'm directly addressing those guys up there who are trying to throw this conversation off track by putting a spin on the narrative and diverting attention away from the original topic. You dey mind them. Instead of them addressing the chaos in their country, they are busy addressing isolated events in countries way better than where they are coming from. |

Chinkoalhaji34: We need to get our facts right. Transparency is key here. If Oyo State is indeed countering this, then let's see the evidence. The FG has been trying to cushion the effects of hardship, so it's crucial for states to collaborate and communicate effectively instead of creating confusion. We should focus on how to make the most of such initiatives for the benefit of the people. A governor is telling you that he is not aware of such money and you are asking for evidence Did Tinubu shoe any evidence of the money being disbursed to the states? I get you don't know the implications of this on the state governors. Transparency is obviously lacking on the part of the federal government. |

Anti end bad governance Meaning they want bad governance to continue..
Nigeria is a joke Exactly my thought. This is just a recipe to the violence they are trying to avoid in the first place. If this peaceful protest eventually turn violence then this and police/ military brutality and clampdown on the protesters would trigger it. We refuse to learn from our past mistakes. |

-Kiss the truth! The goal post has shifted from peter Obi to atiku. So pathetic. The truth is that Nigerians including you are Hungry and has never had it this bad since the inception if the country. Hunger is a ressetter of brains and should be blamed and not Atiku or Obi. This protest is just a warning, in my candid opinion. The next might not be as civil. |
