Goodluck to all candidates today...for those interviewed yesterday, please did the interviewers go by the proposal submitted online (like did they have copies of it already with them) or they went with the one provided by the interviewees? Asking because I changed my research proposal and don't want to be caught unawares. Thanks

You can get admission to an M.Sc programme to even top universities within 24 hours, if ALL your documents are provided.

When you complete the application just email the admissions team and tell them that you need to get the admission letter to present in an interview, and that it is urgent. I did something similar in 2014 for The university of manchester, and I got the admission the same day I uploaded all my documents.

This information i believe is valid only for M.Sc. though.

I cannot say exactly when later is. But I guess we should try from time to time.

I have the exact same problem. I have emailed flexisaf admin severally. The latest they said is this:

''Sorry about that. It happens mostly when you type too much text for some fields.
Please do try reduce the length of some fields. Please do respond with a screen shot
of the page if the problem still persists''

So now I am going to munch the screen and send it to them in the next complaint email I will send. Because I have tried to shorten the contact addresses since I cannot change the name or the email of the referee

If you do find a way to get past this somehow, please share. If I do, I will share.

Had similar issue on the referee section. Mailed flexisaf support, and I'm yet to hear from them.

had similar issue with the reference section. quick question: When you were filling in academic qualification, was there a different degree classification for Postgraduate/M.Sc qualificatoins?, as I can only see First class, second class upper/lower etc. which are for B.Sc degrees.

Made me wonder if there is a different form for M.Sc. /Ph.D. I assume you are a Ph.D candidate seeing that you are uploading a research proposal.

Having some issues with the site too. Can't get passed the Referees section. Keeps saying internal server error. Are you applying for M.Sc or Ph.D? I would like to know what sections you have on your form, cuz i want to confirm if the forms for PhD are the same for MSc applicants.

I scored 40 from Delta and didn't get sms. I called Godson on 08037869282 and he gave me my interview date and time. If you're using Glo, you're likely not to get sms. Try and call Godson as soon as possible.

I thank you so much vladimirputin. I had similar issue. I use a glo line so when I saw this, I called Godson yesterday. He asked me to call today and after several reposting (call me in 20 mins, call me back in 30 mins etc), he asked for my score and state, and gave me my interview details. Thanks for the heads up. My Advice: Don't buy anything from this guy.

Omaobe: According to a friend dat won last year, it's all over if u were never contacted to send ur original transcript b4 d receipt of unsuccessful email. Those earlier contacted by fsb were dose nominated and dey too must av received d unsuccessful email. That is why d email reads dey sud disregard it.

I received the same mail yesterday. A friend of mine received too.

According to the official timetable on the commonwealth website, the nominations from Nigeria should have been sent by the 17th of December. So I think the nominations have been made.

The last part of the mail suggests that it 'may' be a general mail sent to all of us, but then it may just be to those of us who were not successful.

However, let's keep our fingers crossed.

that's TOEFL or IELTS score sheet. I thought this was optional and not compulsory. I read on the commonwealth website that candidates nominated "may be" required to provide evidence of english language proficiency, but not that it was compulsory. My friend who got nominated for this year, didn't do either TOEFL OR IELTS.

we did documentation on the specified day, and were grouped into panels from 1 to 8 or so. Each panel representing a different course area namely Engineering, applied sciences, social sciences, education etc. can't remember all.

Those in the social sciences got many questions from current affairs. Stuff like, names of G8 leaders and their respective countries, names of Governors and of the ministers in Nigeria, and questions from african states like Angolan president etc etc.

i was asked what my extracurricular activities are, what I intend to study, what I hope to learn from what I study, what I would be able to achieve with the new skills learnt, was also asked to define power in terms of Current and voltage, and finally I was asked what a Thermistor does in a circuit.

Scoring was partly based on availability of the said credentials, and it was like a group interview. 3 professors, 3 candidates, while you are showing your docs to one, another one is asking you questions, and then, the next continues. So in the end, all three interviewers assessed each of us.

i attended the interview. So far so good, no news from commonwealth commission or scholarship board. I guess they are carrying out the selection process for the nominees. Any other person who attended should contribute.

When I applied last year, I was shortlisted for test. When this new advert came out, I tried to update some credentials, I could not. And since it was said, no need to apply again, I did not bother. Now, when I check status again, it says, not shortlisted for test. I had attached my nysc ID card, because as at the time i applied last year, I was still serving, but passed out in JUne. Its just annoying.

nuelnuel: Please I heard the T.b certificate takes three days and I can only go for the cert on Tuesday while my interview is on Wednesday.

It usually depends on how long it takes for the results of the tests which the doctor may ask you to take, to be ready. If you're lucky or if you have a doctor friend, you can just explain things to him/her, and they'll give you medical fitness cert on the spot for a fee.
