PoliticsGov El Rufai’s “feud” With Beggars by Danjuma827(op): 4:47am On Aug 07, 2015
KADUNA State Governor, Malam Nasir El Rufai, recently drew the ire of beggars in his state when he threatened to pull them off the streets. The beggars, in return, threatened to pull down his government for daring to send them out of “business”. They reminded him how their votes made him governor

Governor El Rufai had banned beggars and hawkers in the state for security reasons. The Boko Haram terrorists, who have been wreaking many parts of the North, had resorted to deploying beggars, hawkers, children and women as suicide bombers.
But a spokesman of the beggars association, Mallam Yahaya Makaho at a press conference in Kaduna on Monday, July 27 2015, recalled how they used proceeds from their begging to fund campaigns and rallies when El Rufai aspired for the governorship seat.

According to him: “Now, it would appear that we made a mistake. The governor wants to bring us down. He does not want us to live. He has chased us out of the streets and has made no alternative arrangement for our survival. If he refuses to heed to rescind on this decision, we shall make sure we bring down his government.”
Although Governor El-Rufai and the beggars recently reached a truce following the Governor’s visit to the Kaduna State Rehabilitation Centre and the government announced arrangements to rehabilitate and train beggars on various skills, Governor El-Rufai shouldn’t have allowed things to escalate.

He has the right to ensure the security of over eight million people living in Kaduna State but he should have concluded arrangements to train the over 500 physically challenged persons in the state and rehabilitate them before his pronouncement.
The mistake the governor made was in the manner he carried out his threat. He should have approached the beggars first through their representatives, explaining why the action had to be taken. At the same time, he should have unfolded measures to rehabilitate, resettle and give them alternative ways of making decent living while they are off the streets.
Many of the street beggars are quite mentally sound though physically disabled. Most of them will be willing to adopt a new lifestyle of productivity if government offers to train, equip and support them. Then, it will be easier to cater for those who are totally dependent on charity.
This should be our attitude to the less privileged members of our society nationwide. We must reorient ourselves to a new mental attitude of recognising the physically challenged as our collective responsibility to look after. They are also citizens with the right to vote and enjoy the dividends of good governance.
They are not to be swept away like refuse, just like that.

#1

Even if we hate another girl's guts with the fiery passion of a thousand menstruating uteruses, even if that girl is our sworn mortal enemy, if she asks us for a tampon and we have an extra, we give her one.
#2

We always warn the next girl if she is about to walk into a stall with no toilet paper. Furthermore, we always provide TP under the stall door should a girl find herself in the unfortunate situation.
#3

If you ask a girl out directly, more likely than not, she will say yes to you. Even if she only has lukewarm feelings for you, because it will give her the chance to get to know you better and get to like you even more.
#4

When a guy says something really sentimental, girls will remember it forever.
#6

We want you to beware of every male relative and all guy friends. All of them would kick your ass at the drop of a hat, and a lot of them wouldn't even wait for the damn hat. We just don't want you to be too obvious.
#7

Even if you think it is cool to burp, fart, or emit other strange gases from your body, it is not.
#8

Before asking a girl if "she's sick" make sure she didn't just decide to not wear makeup that day.
#10

Girl code: Bat in the cave. Me and all my sisters do this. Code for you've got a giant snot in your nose that has got to be addressed.
#11

Pregnant friends will always look like they "aren't even pregnant" until month 7. Then she looks. "So cute with a little belly". I learned this by being pregnant and running into old female friends constantly. They all said the EXACT same words like it was scripted.
#12

Girls talk about everything with their girl friends. So unless you tell us not to tell them about something, they WILL know about it within 3 days. And if you are the girl's boyfriend, that means, you're possibly 90% of their conversation.
#13

Almost every girl has ONE nickname that they just love to be called. But "Babe" and "Princess" will not work for every woman. Be careful what you call a lady.
#15

Girls love it when a guy pulls them close by the waist.
#16

When a girl cooks for you, you know you mean a lot to her.
#17

Most girls enjoy being paraded around once in awhile in front of your friends. We enjoy having you show us off to your friends, kind of like, 'Hey, look at my hot girlfriend! Aren't you jealous?" But we don't enjoy being nothing but a trophy girl.
#18

The inconspicuous "pull up your shirt" motion when our bras is exposed. Also, boob compliments from other girls are never weird.
#19

If a girl asks us to do a period stain check, we lag back and check her behind for stains. No exceptions.
#20

When a girl is crying, she feels a lot safer if you pull her close and tell her that everything is going to be all right. And more likely than not, it will endear them to you more than anything else.
#21

[Written by a guy] I had this explained to me before. I was waiting in line with this girl to go into a bar. There was a girl in front of me and her bra tag was sticking out of her dress. The girl I was with politely, without asking permission, tucked it back in for her. The girl turned around and said thanks so nonchalantly. I asked my friend if she knew her. She said no, but we gotta keep the ladies looking good. I was blown away. Guys don't do things like that.
#22

If our friend is on a first date, we call an hour in with an "emergency" so she can bail if she needs to.

practiced by many people all over the world; it corrupts the life of most of the youngsters nowadays than any other problem they face. Some of them are given wrong information by their friends and are encouraged to masturbate as though they do. The less knowledge about sex and the addicting capacity of the masturbation stands as a valuable reason for this growing habit among the youngsters. They assume masturbation as good for their sexual health and penis enlargement. We are provided with a good hormonal system that governs the enlargement and other activities regarding development of the sex organs. Some of the youngsters spread wrong information that it is needed for life without fail and some others want to do as it addicts.
We are controlled by three factors (a) Emotional factor, (b) Hormonal factor, (c) Environmental factor; in that the hormonal and environmental factors can only be less changed, where as emotional factor can be controlled to some extent. We need to control us by updating information and by modifying the situations so as to escape from this habit. There is a great urge for youngsters to change their habits before they feel its worse effects. As the media and advertisements are increasing in showing the sex organs for their commercial benefits we too need to check ourselves and maintain a standard that not to go beyond these habits which spoils our life. May be every guy will get a good wife to enjoy sex, till then you can wait so as not to waste your life with this illegal and noxious habit.
Here are some of the harmful effects of masturbation to be considered, kindly read and stop doing masturbation once again. Make your impression in the comments.

1. Masturbation makes you weak, it spends more energy and burns your calorie

2. Masturbation creates nervousness and neurological problems

3. Masturbation is a main cause for erectile dysfunction.

4. Masturbation addicts you even if you taste it for one time. Controlling it is a very big menace.

5. Masturbation creates drowsiness; you will be sleeping most of the time after ejaculation of your sperm. You will experience a damn tired.

6. Masturbation causes stress and strain in your mind and soul.

7. Masturbation also affects us psychologically; it creates depression after ejaculation and makes one to feel bad on his own.

8. Getting red hot while masturbating will give a bad name in your surroundings and it is indecent too.

9. Masturbation cannot be done simply, it needs to see, touch, indulge or at least think of a sexual practice/ sex organs of the opposite sex. This is more harmful that the image in your memory that you see could not be erased easily. This will lead you to a noxious problem that you cannot see any girl/ lady/ women without a single thought i.e., sex.

10. Masturbation creates an urge to do indefinitely; it doesn’t see the place, people and culture. It makes you to fell in a worse sexual problem if chance knocks the door.

11. Masturbation leads you to illegal contacts because the urge increases day by day and finally will lead to the search of a source for sexual pleasure.

12. Masturbation is the main reason for speedy sperm release during sexual intercourse. It will create dissatisfaction to you and to your wife.

13. Over masturbation reduces your sperm count. Couples who desire to get pregnant should not masturbate.

14. Seminal fluid that gets released on masturbation contains proteins that are needed for many metabolic activities and cell formations. Proteins are the building blocks of our body; ejaculation often will create you to be lean and distracts your metabolism of muscle building.

15. Ethically masturbation is wrong; you think of X/Y and do sex of your own. This hinders your values and respect on others. May be you are good in all other regard but will end up in a great problem if not concerned to stop the act

. Masturbation wastes your time and makes you useless.

17. The pleasure of masturbation never lasts for a long time.

18. Masturbation creates more problems as you lose your memory and thought provoking ability.

19. Masturbation is not the end for your desire; you may be fooled by your own practice. It will never give you a solution or a satisfaction but seems that it gives.

20. It is not needed in any way to your sexual life that it has to be practiced without fail.

21. Guys who masturbate will lose interest in sex with their wife very soon. They can’t feel pleasurable for a long time.

22. Masturbation induces homosexuals in schools, colleges and hostels. Many times the latter creates sexually transmitted diseases like VD, syphilis, AIDS etc.,

RomanceWhy I Don’t Wear Pants -baby Blanche (pics) by Danjuma827(op): 9:30pm On Jul 25, 2015
Due to the kind of clothes she likes to wear and is comfortable in, Baby Blanche has revealed in an interview with Showbiz that she hardly wears panties when she’s going out.

Baby Blanche
“I love all kinds of lingerie that make a woman feminine because I’m a woman, but I hardly wear panties. This is not because I don’t want to wear them but because the clothes I love to wear wouldn’t permit me to,” she told Showbiz.
“I try as much as possible to act as a lady and not to let my panty lines show just because I like to wear dresses that hug my figure. So if I wear clothes and the outline of my panty is glaring like that I don’t like it,” she explained. “Being a lady is not only about wearing make-up and Brazilian hair but also comprises the propriety of whatever you’re wearing,” says Baby Blanche. She adds that she does not worry much about thoughts that she may be sexually assaulted by unscrupulous men because she makes sure she doesn’t go to awkward places at awkward hours.

President Muhammadu Buhari says he would not appoint members of his cabinet until September.

The President Buhari gave this hint in an opinion published by Washington Post before the meeting with President Barack Obama.

He urged Nigerians to be patient with his administration because, according to him, all things become difficult before they become easy.

The President also said that his decision to keep the appointments till September is similar to the decision taken by President Obama when he assumed office.

In his words, “When cabinet ministers are appointed in September, it will become months after I took the oath of office. It is worth noting that Obama himself did not have his full cabinet in place for several months after first taking office.

“The United States did not cease to function in the interim. In Nigeria’s case, it would neither be prudent nor serve the interests of sound government to have made these appointments immediately on my elevation to the presidency, instead, Nigeria must first put new rules of conduct and good governance in place.”

EducationWhat You Need To Know About The JAMB New Admission Policy (eligibility Regulatio by Danjuma827(op): 2:21pm On Jul 22, 2015
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) at its 2015 Combined Policy Meeting, held on July 14, 2015 in Abuja, announced the adoption of a policy whereby candidates of universities with surplus applicants for the Unified Matriculation Examinations (UTME) are reassigned to other universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities.

According to the Registrar/CEO of JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, the policy portends two benefits:

It will be beneficial to “needy Universities” that is universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities, as this will ensure that these universities will have more candidates to admit.

Candidates will have better chances for admission in the universities they are re-assigned to, contrary to situations where they would await admission in the universities of their first choices until the admission exercise closes and they forfeit admission in that session.

This policy has been implemented with immediate effect. And is currently being used to determine eligibility of candidates to write the Post-UTME in their respective choice institutions.

PoliticsU.S. Pressure Made Nigeria’s Transition Peaceful, Buhari Tells Obama(pics) by Danjuma827(op): 11:29pm On Jul 20, 2015
Washington DC (USA) – President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday in Washington DC said that the continued pressure on the immediate past administration by the United States and some European countries made the general elections in Nigeria to be free and fair.
Buhari said this while responding to the welcome remarks by President Barack Obama, before the start of the bilateral meeting between officials of both countries at the Oval Office of the White House, Washington DC, on the second day of the visit.
See Photos below

He noted that without the external pressure, “we would not be where we are today in Nigeria”.
He recalled that the pressure started from the visit of the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, to the then Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega.
“Nigeria will be ever grateful to President Obama and the United States for making Nigeria consolidate its gains on democracy,” Buhari said.
On his trip to the United States, the President said he looked forward to a fruitful visit and engagement with his host government.
He expressed delight that the United States government had indicated interest in partnering and helping the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration to bring to fruition its goals of tackling insecurity, corruption and youth unemployment.
In his welcome remarks, Obama said that Buhari came into office with a reputation of integrity and a clear agenda and preparedness to bring peace to Nigeria, curtail the Boko Haram insurgency and root out corruption.

“On both issues of tackling insurgency and corruption in Nigeria, we look forward to how the United States can partner Nigeria to become an outstanding role model for developing countries,” Obama said.

lipsrsealed
While describing Nigeria as a one of the most important countries in Africa, he also commended the peaceful elections and transition that brought Buhari to power.
Obama lauded Nigeria’s track record in tackling the outbreak of Ebola virus and polio, adding that the United States looked forward to engaging Nigeria in improving its electricity challenges.(NAN)
