My brother, it wasn't easy. Fresh out of NYSC (squandered all the allawee), struggling with professional exams, courses on taxation, supply chain management and general program management. Those 6 months roaming around Diplomatic Drive in Abuja weren't fun. No money, struggling to pay my rent in Jahi as my Dad felt I should return home and sit in, while he works his contacts for those type of job placement promises that take 10 years for fulfillment. The people I met around that vicinity shaped my outlook towards life, I realized wealth was not made just transferred - you just need to know where to look!

I understand you perfectly, the Nigerian situation doesn't give you that option. I'm an accountant, and now have the luxury of choosing my jobs. Before 6 years ago, I didn't have the luxury or the necessary connections to leverage upon. Now I do! He can keep his head down, dig into reserves he may not realize he has and weather this storm, iron sharpens iron and you sound like the type of guy that knows this too well!

By short oil.. How long or how many miles does it take for engine oil to drop to the low mark?

Some times kazeem ride on our ignorance and over meticulousness..

Engine shorting oil is not a death sentence.. How much be the engine oil to be topping self as against buying the "new" engine or ringing.

My car consumes approximately 1 litre between servicing..
Let's do small maths..
Let's assume 1 liter engine oil = 3k,.. I service 4 times a year, total 12k worth extra engine oil..
Now Let's assume my engine cost 200k.. How many years will it take me to consume 200k oil?

If the oil shortage gets worse, I will step down to a cheaper oil & keep topping the oil..
No ringing or changing engine because of small oil burn..

now I realise how some of these guys sell at ridiculously low amounts. Sometimes i wondered if they have a different place they buy from. Or I only purchase when auction prices are high. I will hold my head high and never deviate from what is right no matter circumstances.

In my previous advice on these Page, it was said both the agent and the delear/owner has their parts in short payment.

But the works hand to hand for price negotiation on clearing either Higher or Lower.
But what matters most is that am sure they will have do 2 things while taking the vehicle down to Abuja, depending on the route taken

1. Increase the price on the duty by making another document while going and settled little or


2. Face the normal settlement of the taskforce on the road with a wavier after payment.

It's a normal practice, if I can say it that way
