It is actually a hard thing for me to believe that technology has a spiritual backing. So I decided to share here and get nairalanders view on this critical topic.

So there was a hot argument at work and boom everyone started agreeing that technology has a spiritual backing, I was stunned and perplexed, that even the educated ones (science and engineering student too) can also believe this kind of view.

But the problem is that in every time I am around or among people arguing that technology has a spiritual backing (Witchcraft) the same storyline has always been used to defend their immature view (maybe I am the immature though).

The storyline goes as; workers in car production companies tend not to be able to start a new assembled car no matter how perfectly they fixed and tried to start the car. But it is believed that after some days off and resuming they would have been able to start the car after some set of people has worked on it.

So that brought the questions;
1. If the story line is true and why are they doing it if true?

2. If actually technology has a spiritual backing or is a witchcraft?
