You are wrong. The legislature cannot be injuncted from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities, just like the legislature cannot make laws ousting the jurisdiction of a court which has been vested constitutionally.
An important question is, if the Rivers State govt could go to court to apply for an injunction what stops it from commencing the prosecution of Amaechi if they are sure of their facts?

No court order can stop the senate from doing what she is constitutionally empowered to do. That is their responsibility as recognised by the law of the land. So many precedence exists on this.
It's like u saying u have a court order asking the senate not to pass laws. The worst u can do is after doing what they are empowered to do from our law books, u can go ahead to test it ( law, decisions etc) in the law court.
Senate gonna do what the law asked them to do. Wike has failed again.
Senate, will receive it and junk it. Let wike sue the senate afterwards.

She appeared to lack speaking confidence ,repeatedly fidgeting with her hair and talked too much textbook economics. I am not persuaded. We need real Nigerians who understand Nigeria to manage Ministry of Finance. I don't think she is mature enough to work unsupervised. I also do not believe the Ministry of Finance needs a so called technocrat at its helm.What it needs is a mature politician who understands Nigeria. I do not believe a non politician should hold that portfolio. What is necessary is to improve the quality of civil servants across government and pay them well
Her comments on interest rate were naive. I agree with here comments on Foreign Direct Investment but Nigeria has a lot of better candidates She is not ready for a senior Minister job
I do not think Buhari has put together a great team that was what waiting for

How can a man of 52 years find it difficult to answer simple questions pertaining to his area of specialization, his state & experience? What baffles me is some of you attended universities where some 30-something year old Lecturers tutor you all on difficult subjects.

Please remind me again, what has Fashola said that Senator Ben Bruce can't discuss even better? What has Madam Aminat said that Senator Stella Oduah won't discuss even better? Have your nominees said anything Maupe Ogun of Channels TV won't discuss even better? Who among them can transform this nation better than "Sam Adeyemi", a public speaker if the criteria were to be comportment, statistical and business intelligence?


If you must school anyone, beg your nominees to tutor your PRESIDENT who's apparently clueless of certain and key sectors of the Nigerian business.

I also saw some hypocrites insulting the Northern senator who couldn't speak well in the senate, meanwhile these same set of people were among those who installed Muhammadu Buhari, same man we barely hear whenever he talks.
