Politics › Re: Between Joe Igbokwe And Chris Finebone, Who Should Replace Lai Mohammed?? by Dannyset(m): 12:35pm On Oct 15, 2015 |
Igbokwe talks not constructive. He will end up exchanging blows with someone. Lai's weapon is his mouth and not his fist. The Finebone guy will be shelved by Metuh(Lai's student). APC always produce good hands, so it won't be a problem to find Lai's replacement. |

pheliciti: You are wrong. The legislature cannot be injuncted from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities, just like the legislature cannot make laws ousting the jurisdiction of a court which has been vested constitutionally. An important question is, if the Rivers State govt could go to court to apply for an injunction what stops it from commencing the prosecution of Amaechi if they are sure of their facts? I hear you oo. |

dekdek: Another huge joke from the thug, wikes camp. No court order can stop the senate from doing what she is constitutionally empowered to do. That is their responsibility as recognised by the law of the land. So many precedence exists on this. It's like u saying u have a court order asking the senate not to pass laws. The worst u can do is after doing what they are empowered to do from our law books, u can go ahead to test it ( law, decisions etc) in the law court. Senate gonna do what the law asked them to do. Wike has failed again. Senate, will receive it and junk it. Let wike sue the senate afterwards. The Senate does not go against or encroach the Judiciary! Even the Committee on Ethics respect that fact when Amaechi told them that the case is in court. If there's truly a court injunction, they will gladly respect it(Separation of Powers). That is that on that. @OP, you need to edit your topic. Your use of "PDP gets an injunction" instead of Livingston is just an assumption that hasn't been verified. Tho we know PDP is behind it all, but still, that heading is wrong. |

It is not against the law. Most of those freed are likely to be those that were about to complete their long jail term, those who the prison officers have ascertained that they are now rehabilitated, or those whose case has no ground but have stayed a long time in detention. So this is a good one, especially the money aspect. It will go a long way to help them psychologically. |

With the projection, the President noted that it would not cost the government as much as being speculated to implement the school feeding programme".
It appears Buhari is gonna serve our children with a cup of garri and kulikuli. Chai baba do you give your children N51 to N60 as chop money? Baba this is 2015 and not 1975.

egift: The laziness among we the youths is also a factor holding down our development and prospects for leadership. According to the author, the solutions include: 1. As youths, we must humble ourselves and learn all that is needed to equip us for the challenges ahead. 2. Know your worth (what you can accomplish) and then strive hard to do better. 3. Avoid distractions and concentrate on your goal. 4. Grab good opportunities when they come. Don't be fearful or indecisive. (To be POOR = Passing On Opportunities Regularly). A good write-up. I hope many will benefit it too. You might have just done a disservice by helping to summarise this great piece. That's one of our(youths) problem. We don't like reading. We will just peruse the intro and jump to the conclusion, and we are done. Imagine what a WORD this is! It's a serious one. |

omonnakoda: Sorry but what was lovely about her accent? It was foreign! The only lovely accents are Nigerian!! She appeared to lack speaking confidence ,repeatedly fidgeting with her hair and talked too much textbook economics. I am not persuaded. We need real Nigerians who understand Nigeria to manage Ministry of Finance. I don't think she is mature enough to work unsupervised. I also do not believe the Ministry of Finance needs a so called technocrat at its helm. What it needs is a mature politician who understands Nigeria. I do not believe a non politician should hold that portfolio. What is necessary is to improve the quality of civil servants across government and pay them well Her comments on interest rate were naive. I agree with here comments on Foreign Direct Investment but Nigeria has a lot of better candidates She is not ready for a senior Minister job I do not think Buhari has put together a great team that was what waiting for Lol.......are you sure am the one you want to quote sha? I talked about Fashola oo! I guess you were referring to that Kemi Adeosun. It's not easy my brother. |

Can somebody please tell these people that Malami(SAN), was a gubernatorial candidate of CPC in the past elections. He contested and lost. He was never a card carrying member of APC. Infact, most of the nominees in the first batch were CPC members, while the 2nd batch contained some people without party affiliation. Baba didn't consult too many people on this. I stand to be corrected tho! |

Acidosis: You need to attend more seminars, listen to more public speakers and stop these 'hypes.'
How can a man of 52 years find it difficult to answer simple questions pertaining to his area of specialization, his state & experience? What baffles me is some of you attended universities where some 30-something year old Lecturers tutor you all on difficult subjects.
Please remind me again, what has Fashola said that Senator Ben Bruce can't discuss even better? What has Madam Aminat said that Senator Stella Oduah won't discuss even better? Have your nominees said anything Maupe Ogun of Channels TV won't discuss even better? Who among them can transform this nation better than "Sam Adeyemi", a public speaker if the criteria were to be comportment, statistical and business intelligence?
If you must school anyone, beg your nominees to tutor your PRESIDENT who's apparently clueless of certain and key sectors of the Nigerian business.
I also saw some hypocrites insulting the Northern senator who couldn't speak well in the senate, meanwhile these same set of people were among those who installed Muhammadu Buhari, same man we barely hear whenever he talks. I so pity you! You will just die of so many negative things that I don't want to keep mentioning. |
