Good morning guys, for those with accommodation issues, i will suggest u liase with any student you know in unilag, yabatech and federal College of Education all around yaba axis and look for outside campus hostel to rent for the 3months. U guys can peer up to reduce cost. U can also liase with the trainees presently shuffling TS school from home for assistance. And for us waiting for TS mail, may God speedily answer our prayers.

thanks for info/advice. i seriously need this accommodation close to the school

The 'No Accommodation issue' would be very complicated and hectic for we that do not have anywhere to stay in lagos o. I would suggest we get to lagos Saturday, then book an hotel for 3 days to hustle for a conducive accommodation for the training period.

Bro where re u from?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by dannytskaa: 9:03pm On May 08, 2018
I believe in finding solution to confronting challenges.

Those of us outside Lagos, why don't we join heads together and find a solution instead of complaining on a platform that FBN is visibly absent?

We will all overcome even though it is not easy...

Hahahaha...funny dude, you mean you have killed yourself before? Funny u.

You also signed an agreement form before they gave you the form for medicals. Maybe because I was the first person to do documentation on my day, I even helped them arrange the office before they attended to me. So I took my time and read it well... But hey, stop being funny okay

those who just resumed training last 2 days, any info yet? i wish mails would just drop today

Once they resume training, they vanish in thin air.

Looks like there is something they tell them in that school about keeping things secret.

When went for documentation, there was a secrecy agreement form we signed, if u read it to the end, remember?

Thanks. Lack of ID card is cos the applicant lost her Nigerian valid ID.

And her WAEC got burnt in a house fire, she is not interested in 'age altering gymnastics' as she is still below 24

HR was contacted and NECO is allowed without any additions same as work ID.

This is good news for me. I also used only neco!

I love this!

nlanded:
If any FBN HCMD staff is reading this, please you guys should reconsider the decision of no accommodation for out of Lagos candidates if truly the rumour is true.

It would affect the number of people who would accept the TS offer if they have to come over with no accommodation having not planned for it, from the start everyone has been prepared for being accommodated. Lots of us have jobs already and adding the accommodation burden might make some candidates drop out.

If for sure there would be no accommodation for Lagos TS for real, maybe they should consider sending us to other First academy locations in Enugu, Abuja and Kano where we would be accommodated. Truth be told; free accommodation and feeding is not our right but a privilege, but we beg to be given this privilege like past TS graduates, after all we also make up the future of the bank.

And lastly, if we are still gonna be all sent to Lagos for TS and with no accommodation, then we should start thinking of plan B. For those of us who don't have a place to stay in Lagos or don't wanna bug people we know here in Lagos, let's start networking here how we can share rent and get places to stay around the Iganmu area, at least this strategy would be more pocket friendly, after all it would only be for only 12 weeks.

It won't be easy no doubt, but we just have to do what it takes to get the job!
