jon_zy: I rx too for ph, do u know of I can change the venue to lagos?I received for Port Harcourt for Technical Graduates. Does anyone have an idea what I should expect? Like questions and co. |
Anyone? |
I received the above mail just a few hours back after making an application to Shell a few weeks back. Please what type of questions should I expect for those who have written the exams successfully before and are there any other tips I should know concerning the Tests? Thanks. |
Please for the past two days, my nokia c7 has been making background calls and has zapped all the credit on my phone. I just keep getting alerts that my last call was Bleep naira even when I'm not touching the phone. Also my messages don't come into the phone till it is restated. The touchscreen is no more fast in picking up calls. The phone also has become very slow and freezes. I'm really frustrated with it. I've done the hard reset and co as described but the credit reducing thing is still there. Do you have a Port Harcourt office? Also is the phone under warranty? 356252047765646 |

blink182:A lot actually, Lol. I simply find alternatives in that case. BOMANY:Yes I bought online and paid via MasterCard. Everything requiring dollars in cash has been put on Hold till the madness is over |
I bought 300$ with my mastercard this morning at 152.2. Guess its alright now then, haven't yet tried black market though |
@Blink182 IM SO SO SORRY!! I TRAVELLED OVER THE WEEKEND AND JUST RETURNED LAST NIGHT. ITS THE NORMAL GTBANK ORANGE NAIRA MASTERCARD. IF YOU HAVE A CURRENT ACCOUNT WITH GTB, USE IT FOR YOUR ONLINE TRANSACTIONS AS USUAL AND THE NAIRA EQUIVALENT FOR YOUR TRANSACTION WOULD BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR CURRENT ACCOUNT. THATS HOW ITS WORKING FOR ME NOW. SORRY FOR THE DELAY, AND FOR TYPING IN CAPS. |
Like they'd say, when there's a will, there's a way, I just got 300$ for N155.41, Used my naira mastercard for the transaction and it was deducted from my naira current account, :-) |
@Seun Income minus expenses |
@blink182 What Bank? Because I bought $400 at N167 at GTBank PortHarcourt Yesterday (Rather painful). @modath Wow, ok, Thanks for replying |
I keep records of Every money I spend on Business and have been doing that since I started my first company last July. It was really difficult with so many down moments going through months without a single order or phone call on my "business line". This Year 2011, I decided to start afresh with God by my side, I attended the first cross-over service in my life on the first day of the year, I did the 21 day fast in January (practically shut down business that month to concentrate) and started afresh with a new business model in February. Earlier in the year, I was looking through the excel spreadsheet where I keep Income & Expense records for my SMS Site and Discovered Over 1million Naira in the profit column. I was so surprised and actually stopped to count the zeroes (lol!) because I just couldn't believe it, For the experience, its been nice, challenging (you really have to solve problems like everyday) and generally a bitter-sweet experience. I would say, when the money is flowing in like that you really find it hard to control spending. I spent the first few months buying every gadget and cellphone (I actually carry 5 about right now) that crossed my eyes before I realised I would enter serious debt if I continued that way. Its a wonderful experience and great boost to the ego. Finally, put God into confidence on whatever you want in life, and Always Pay your Tithes ;-) |
@blink182 & @modath Please what is the procedure for buying at the bank? Please let me know here or mail me What Bank, what do I present to them etc etc. I use dollars every month in running my business and its really been painful buying at this exhorbitant rates from the black market. |
They sell extremely cheap and are extremely fast and reliable too. |
I finally got my Modem to work Yesterday so thought I should share .You would need a second source of internet to get this working as you can download the drivers online (just 200kb). 1.) Install Your Modem Software as usual 2.) Connect to your Internet using the second source (I tehthered my phone to my Laptop and used it in browsing but WiFi too is OK) 3.) Click on your windows Button and search for Device Manager. 4.) If you put in your Modem, usually one Autorun Pop-Up would come out, if it does, run it or Go to "Computer " in your Menu and Run the Mtn Fastlink Icon that should show there 5.) In your Device Manager, Click modems, You should see about 4 zte modems with Yellow icons on them showing they where not properly installed. 6.) Starting from the First one, Right-Click and select upgrade driver software, Search Online. 7.) When you have updated all four, Restart Your Computer!!! Insert Your Modem and it should work as Perfect as Brand New. Hope its Helpful, Let me know if any part doesn't work. |

I intend starting a large scale Bulk SMS Reseller Business but Right now, the only thing delaying me is the cost of SMS units from Gateway providers I know. Does anyone know of any reliable one that would let me sell my SMS units as low as N1? Thanks |
