Aside the confirmation of employment attached, did you add any other document(s) to evidence the other inflows? was there activities like outflows on the account? its not about the balance BUT strong evidence of source of income tho! because those small small deposits would appear to the embassy like the applicant is being crowd funded to migrate! that's what they mean by "Bank statement Transaction lacks credibility" . hence in the future....try and prove any payment in account you intend to use! one amongst the many ways to do this is by presenting 2 separate account. 1 as a salary account and the other her side business account.....(as you already said she's a fashion designer/trainer) hope this helps! Yhamo: Good day house, I recently applied for Visitor's visa for my wife and a year old son to visit SA. The application was packaged in such a way that my wife is working with a salary of about 200k naira per month( Salary was deposited in her account for more than three months consecutively) and a letter of confirmation of employment was attached, it was also declared that she is a fashion designer(that's her main job anyway), and she sew clothes for clients on weekends when shes not working, she also has some students she trains as well, hence, there were inflow and outflow of small amount of money(4k, 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k etc) frequently in her account. The balance in her account as at the time of submission was around 1.9m naira accumulated over time. The person that invites her have a Permanent Resident in SA with good job and good pay as well, bank statements and even payslip of the person was submitted.
The application was rejected on the ground that "Bank statement Transaction lacks credibility" .
What could have went wrong with this application and what can one do in the future to avoid this?
Thanks guys and complement of the season to evryone. |

Congratulations bro! Please how much cash for BTA was on you when you passed through Naija immigration? i'll be travelling to SA too for 10days by Feb so i'll like to know. Omoocash: Glory be to the name of the Lord. I landed safely this morning at O.R. TAMBO International Airport. I got there in less than 6 hours via SAA. No Kenya Airline or Rwanda Airline that will take two days with 4 to 11 hours waiting in their respective country home. |

iamkingrobert: I want to add this quick tips from my experience at the VFS office at Lekki. Please don't bother make photocopy outside the office with those people, too bad it looks like am spoiling their business but am also trying to save you money. 1, theirs is expensive and when you submit at VFS they will not accept it because it is never clear like they want it. 2, VFS only charge you 100 naira for photocopy and it's very clear and they accept it. I spend about 1500 Naira outside and at the end the document was regected. 3, Try and go as early as you can because the cue can be really long. 4, put all your document in an A4 envelope and please take your Yellow card there too because you might have to make a new copy there. 5, Five stands for "Grace" so pray to God for grace so you can be given, it is not by your document. 6, They accept 3 months Bank statement at the Lagos consulate and please try and have at least half a million naira as closing balance. That was what i had and i only opened the account 3 month prior to that day and i got the Visa, thanks be to God. I hope all this helps someone, when am back from SA am sure i will have some tips to share with you too. God bless you all and thanks to those have been learning from. People like Manager007 and Justwise, God go bless una ooo. The Visa total cost for Visit Visa was less than 30K. I don't remember the exact but it is less than 30K, I was the first person they attended to also, So try to be the first person too. Maybe that is also a good thing because it what sum up your Ref number at the end. GodSpeed. Congrats! how many days stay were you allowed? also when do you intend to travel? |
